Discussion for Matthew 15

"Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind." In saying this, Jesus has revealed that each and every one of us is accountable first to God; and no amount of obstinate determination to follow ANY form or methodology may take the preeminence over His view of us; notwithstanding howsoever strongly one might protest!

Andrea: His Word says: every Creature of God is Good and nothing to be refused,if it be received with Thanksgiving:For it is Sanctified by The Word of God and Prayer. 1Timothy 4:4-6./ Oysters, clams, muscles, shrimp, lobster, any seafood. Andrea; If I may add here, the teaching of the Law in the eating of things designated clean and unclean; is in reference to our walk. "But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." Acts 10 (esp. v28) confirms, The Kingdom of God IS NOT Meat and Drink..

People often misinterpret verses 1-20 by saying Yeshua allowed the consumption of pork, shellfish and other unclean animals. Yeshua rebuked the Pharisees only for their man made law (tradition) of washing hands which is not found anywhere in the law of Moses.

13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
