"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Even while reading the part where Jesus said this, the tendency of many of us is to isolate this sentence and let it just mean "generally" as if our biggest worry should be wanting to be a billionaire!
"And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation." We are in the time of "Many False Prophets" and "Many Who Will Come in [JESUS'] Name And Will Deceive Many." And they find an audience! As much as it makes us mad knowing about them God is proving the people if they will obey or not.
"And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town." Amos 5:13 "Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time." Some suppose that Jesus did all His miracles for a show, and for advertising His power; ignoring the facts about the people whose hearts were hostile toward Him, that they weren't worthy to hear any more.
"How is it that ye do not understand?" To those who oppose and contradict, there IS NO SIGN GIVEN; but to us who believe and follow Jesus, "Blessed are your eyes, for they see;" and ALL THINGS THAT THE FATHER HAS GIVEN TO JESUS, HE MAKES KNOWN TO US. Why do the haters of the Lord seek a sign, when they have no heart for it? And why do those with eyes to see, so easily act as if they didn't know?
JESUS HAD TO REBUKE PETER, ONE OF HIS DISCIPLES CAUSE PETER DID NOT UNDERSTAND AT THIS POINT HIS TRUE PURPOSE IN DYING FOR OUR SINS! REBUKING IS PART OF BEING DISCIPLED BY GOD SO WE CAN LEARN TO LIVE AND DO BETTER CAUSE OF THIS SINFUL NATURE! HOW CAN WE BE A DISCIPLE WITHOUT DISCIPLINE??? NOBODY LIVING IN THIS WORLD GETS EVERYTHING RIGHT ALL THE TIME! Hebrews 12:11 "No DISCIPLINE seems pleasant a

Many lost men seek signs today from the Lord, guessing about all kinds of strange things, and then tryimng to say that prophecies are being fulfilled; but Jesus said no sign will be given to them, but of His death and resurrection.
I want to speak on honoring Father and Mother Jesus teaches us that we should honor our parents in this world we live in now it is hard to find a respectable child or adult I am 66 years old and when I was a child parents did not allow there children to disrespect them they had a standard to up hold and that was they went by the bible.now as we no all parents was not holding up this but the child respected their parent .parents would see to it that u listen .how ever they choose to deal with u .u knew not to do somethings because u knew your parent would deal with u now days most parent are afraid of there children so the childern have taken over and u can see why kids are dying and feeling unlove because some parent care nothing for there kids they have them an d drop them on grandma and never care that grandma have rise her children Jesus is not please with that children are rising themselves doing whatever they want to that why they are dying before their time wake up parents U will have To answere to Jesus for the childern he allowed u to bring into this world .u see childern was not born with the No how to be a parent Amen
Jesus has full of Compassion when he saw the crowd. What a loving Father to his children he will make sure that we are provided by bread and fishes to eat. In life a bread is his words that when we are filled by his words and obey them we have life in abundance. Jesus the only Jehovah Jireh the Provider, the Healer and Peace . Jesus has appointed time to heal us and bless us. It doesnt matter if two times he heal the two eyes of a man there is a purpose. He want the man to go out to the town and spread the good news that he was healed by Jesus. Jesus wants us to receive his words for his words has life. When we chose to follow Jesus we must also obey his words we must do what he says just what he says to the blind man
What understood on the mark 8 is that when you want go for the gospel of christ, you go for it without looking back, because that you think you that if you go after christ it will spoil, but the word God is saying that you should forsake every other things and follow him because that thing you thing you loose because of following christ, you will gain it back hundred fold, therefore seek 4 Christ
Mark 8 : Tell us that Jesus had compassion for people when He said, to His disciples that the followers had been with them for a long time, and they needed something to eat. And also Jesus was preparing His disciples of what He to endure, but not for anything He's done but the sins of the world. Peter didn't want to believe what He was speaking, so he wanted to rebuke Jesus.
To set our mind on things above and not on wordly thing because any person who loves the world nor thing in it, the love of the father is not in him.and all wordly things wil pass away
From touching trees, the blind man perceives shape of trees and from touching people he perceives shape of people. But without clarity or just by seeing, he could not see the difference between the two, the tree and people. The apostles, like the blind man need clarity or to really see and understand. That clarity, sight and understanding is Jesus.
Men as trees walking. Perhaps he was seeing that all men produce good or bad fruit, little or abundant fruit in their walk with or without God the Father.
We should remember the bible says though we are in the world but we are not of the world. And we should remember God 's word told us to lay our balms in where thieves can not break in and steal.
Amen. The benefit of life is the follow Jesus and focus on the things of God, because living on this earth is just a seasonal the kingdom of God is our place that is while we should not statisfy the spirit of Lust in our body but will should concentrate the thing that we can not see I.e things that are in heavenly place is where our eyes and mind should be thing, God bless U all
All that is in the world : The lust of the flesh : The lust of the eye : The pride of life : Is not of God but is of the world. No profit in gaining the world and losing your soul . Better is a little with the Lord than the treasures of this world. I believe that God allows us to have the comforts of this life only to better serve Him .
