    Mark Chapter 3

26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.

27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

  • HANNA on Mark 10:18 - 3 years ago
In the book of Isiah God said I am God and beside me the is no other. In hebrews c 1 vs 2 He said in the last days He will speak to the people through His Son by whom He made the Worlds. In John chp 3 vs 16 for God so loved the world that He gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that who so ever believed in Him should have everlasting life. IF THERE IS NO SON THERE IS NO SACRIFICE. In Rev chp 4 vs 9 - 11 the four beast and the 24 elders praise GOD and say Thou art worthy ,O Lord to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things and for Thy pleasure they are and were created. WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GIVE GOD CREDIT FOR HIS MIGHTY WORKS?
  • The Third Eye on Mark 10:9 - 3 years ago
Here's that 3rd Eye scripture. Just because you put a red dot on your face doesn't mean it's from God.

Ask someone who was rescued out of the occult! What goes around comes back around: that's karma. Occult!

Read your Bible as is. That's your revelation. Every time you read the book of Revelation, you get a blessing from God.

    Deuteronomy 18:10-12

There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices DIVINATION tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

People be aware. There will be many false Christ's, false prophets, people who say they have a new revelation. God hates that stuff.

If you would ask the Holy Spirit to TEACH you the Bible.....you'd wake up raring to hit the Bible hard every day! Can't no one Teach like the Holy Spirit can.

If you want to learn the deep things of God, then be willing to log in many many hours studying with the Holy Spirit! He WANTS to teach you. THEN, He wants you to teach it to others. No interpretation is just for private.

Ask the Holy Spirit about that 3rd eye thing and then sit before him, stilled, until He replies.

If Satan can't get us on heroin, he'll find all kinds of newfangled theories to waste time pondering on. Look up that scripture in the search box: "Your adversary the Devil..."

Steve, you are right that all sin can be forgiven except for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, for which the Jewish leaders were particularly guilty of. We can ask the Lord for forgiveness of sins & then find peace in our hearts from that wrong & restored fellowship with the Lord.

However, with the sin of adultery, or other sins such as murder, rape, etc., one then has to live with that decision for the rest of his life. And with adultery, no forgiveness can ever take away from the reality of the daily hurt & shame that is brought about by this act. If as a believer, one wilfully sins (a premeditated act) expecting that God's forgiveness as the cure all, then how are we different to anyone else who might believe that sinning is of no consequence as God always forgives, or even as some RCs who go weekly into the confessional to receive absolution?

When a believer falls into sin, it amounts to a 'slip up' because of our weakness in the flesh, where maybe a lie is spoken to get out of trouble, or a nasty word or burst of anger in response to a situation, or even that sexual thought of someone else. We realize our sin & seek forgiveness. How does that then work out when there is a planned execution of sin, knowing that that is not what God allows? Does God still forgive this? And if He does, will He still continue to forgive many times over? Or for that matter, can we really regard our righteous standing before God through His salvation as real? These would be some of the questions that I would be compelled to consider if planning to commit sin. I'm not in any way suggesting this of you, but a personal view of wilful sin & doing despite to His work of Salvation & giving of His Spirit.
  • Steve Lynch on Mark 10:9 - 3 years ago
It is ok for a person to remary because adultry is not a unforgivable sin. you both repent of any sin and jesus will forgive you. otherwise it would be like saying that christ can't forgive sin. and there's only one unforgivable sin an that is to blasheme against the holy spirit.
  • Margie on Mark 10:9 - 3 years ago
The Bible says of one comments adultery, ot ok with God to divorce. Does that mean it's ok for the non-adulterer to remarry?
  • Hank - In Reply on Mark 10 - 3 years ago
Yes, the first man the woman and the new man, all three of them will be guilty of breaking the law of God.

    Mark 10:8-9 KJV

And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. [9] What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Every binding in marriage is from God. To break what God has merged indeed is going against God's will. The first combination has children indicates that they had become "one flesh" in the eyes of God even though they were not given to marriage. As a result breaking the unity that led to bear children is sinning against God. Saying we were not engaged/not legally married is not an excuse.

Also the new man Leviticus 21:7

Patricia, did you mean John 10:30-31?

In John 10:30, Jesus says, "I and my Father are one."

Verse 31 does not use the word Father because the Jews took up stones to stone Jesus for saying I and my Father are one.

The Jews understood the phrase "I and my Father are one" as Jesus claiming to be equal to God Himself. That's why they took up stones.

But did you notice that Jesus didn't deny it? He never said "Wait a minute guys, before you stone me, I think you might have misunderstood me." The Jews knew exactly what Jesus meant!
  • Patricia Stover on Mark 10:30 - 3 years ago
In Mark chapter 10 verse 31 mentions Father but why does it not mention Father in verse 30?
  • Mishael - In Reply on Mark 10:9 - 3 years ago
    If you live in the USA, you can google your State's laws on it. Some states recognize it;

Others do not. It can't be treated as divorce until someone moves out of the house.

Since God created the first marriage with Adam and Eve, we have to observe His requirements to put away a "spouse".

    1 Corinthians 7-9; Genesis 38:8;

    Deu. 24:2-5, Hebrews 13:4; Jeremiah 3:14

My comment here, is if God can say 'I'm married to you'..then marriage (a covenant) between two parties is serious and binding. If you bend the rules because society says you can doesn't mean it's the best choice.

I say that because of how it hurts children to live the impermanence of life without one parent. I overheard one day a group of children call themselves, "divorced" kids. Five of them said, I'm divorced, and 1 kid said my parents are married. The 5 told him he was lucky.

Talk it over with your Pastor or the Pastors wife.

someone living common-in-law and 2 children from the relationship and has not actually made marriage vows is it still considered what God has joined together.? Now is the woman free to leave her partner and go with another man? Is the new man breaking up what God put together?

As it relates to marriage, 1-12 above JESUS give good clarity about what JEHOVAH /GOD has written in stone, nevertheless in 2020 mankind still put away unlawfully. Thank GOD for JESUS thereby forgiveness of this sin through JESUS can be obtain. 13-31 again JESUS mind is on SALVATION for us, 33-34 JESUS mind is on the work HE must finish, thereby finishing or establishing THE WAY for us that leads to ETERNAL LIFE /SALVATION, see John 3:16-21.

We must not think to ourselves how our lives shall be for God has us in his hand so we must follow him and trust him even in hard times

Gods understanding is beyond the human mental capacities of this world. The longer God allows us to live, the more opportunity is provided to listen to him and guide us through is spirit. God has designed the world in granular perfection. God reveals himself to those who seek in the spirit. We cannot move on own terms to spread the power of God. We must do so with his approved guidance.

"How hard it is for them that TRUST in riches to enter the Kingdom of God". Are we willing to give up all that we have and TRUST in God? It may not seem easy, but with God it is possible. All things were made by Him and He owns everything. Think about it.

2 things about the blind man: First he cast away his garment knowing he could find it again because he knew Jesus would cure his blindness. And second: Jesus didn't tell him not to publish it, like he told others that he healed before. For now it didn't matter because his time had come.
  • Stanjett on Mark 10 - 4 years ago
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

The fact that Jesus is God and that he came not to be ministered unto but to minister to those of his creation shows me that he is here teaching his people a lesson by example. But his ministry goes far beyond anything that we could aspire to He gave his life as a Ransom for his people life

34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again. (Jesus understood / knew the power of GOD, even to the degree that HE says after they kill HIM /Jesus, He will rise again, and HE did raise himself from the dead which paid the ransom for the human race or HE conquer death for the human race.)

Verse 8~A husband and wife are to be so close that they are described as one flesh. This was Jehovah God's original purpose for marriage.
  • BSP on Mark 10 - 5 years ago
Verse 9~The marriage arrangement is something that Jehovah God created and no man or woman should put that arrangement apart.
