To M. Balatiheng - Where do you see that John the Baptist at a later time ate people ate? The Bible has NOTHING to say about what he ate a ta later time. Be careful - Rev. 22:18-19.
  • Bruce on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
Maipelo: He's poor. He wears what is easiest to come by. The food he ate was his choice. The honey made eating locusts a lot easier, something you could swallow! He ate and dressed the same all the way to death.
He was filled with The Spirit before birth. The Holy Spirit Surely helped him with life choices. Put on Christ! Feed on the Word only! That's the message. Be like John. Don't change!
  • Bruce on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
Zielski: Elijah was here before Christ and died before Christ he was, John the Baptist:Matthew17:10-13, Luke1:17( talking about John the Baptist) Soon the Trump will sound! Today? A million years from now makes no difference he's coming for the "Called" John 6:44, Cleansed: 1John1:9. Baptized by the HolyGhost and Fire! Matthew3:11. Changed! You will know! 2Corinthians5:17. Impossible not to know!

  • Apostle David on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
In verse 30-31 Jesus showed his power as the Son of God. Is amazing that Christians don't even know they have power so they suffer in all they do.Lets be who we are in the kingdom.

The Gospel of God cometh only from God, our Father which art in heaven. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: Father, the hour is come glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. The mercy of man is toward his neighbour but the mercy of the Lord is upon all flesh: he reproveth, and nurtureth, and teacheth and bringeth again, as a shepherd his flock. Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
  • Eric on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
ll flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. For God made not death: neither hath he pleasure in the destruction of the living. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
  • Janice on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
The book of Mark reveals the power Jesus had when he appeared, Mark describes him as one who he's not worthy to untie his shoes, Jesus shows himself to be above and far beyond man imagination, one that cannot be copied or replace, so he came on a mission to heal deliver and set the captive free from sickness and decease, which is expected of Apostle's prophet's evangelist pastor's and teacher's.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus, In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

I think it has open my mind a bit closer to knowing who Jesus really is.
  • Jubilee on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
Once we accept Jesus Christ as our the bible states that we are new creatures in Christ Jesus. To show the world that we have had this experience and have become new, Been reborn, we are baptized by being immersed in water as He gave example. This symbolizes that the old man has passed away and behold all things have become new.
  • Pamela carboon on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
John came to the Jews to preach the baptism of water for the remission of sins but as John clearly states, Jesus is mightier than He and would come to baptize us with the Holy Spirit. Jesus after he fulfilled the law of baptism in water said repent and believe the gospel, He did not tell us to be baptized in water. water baptism was for the Jews back then.
  • Irene123 on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
to coupe 1942 ( my birth year) on Mark ch.1 -- Jesus baptism was for our example, to be baptized and by immersion - not 'pouring' or 'sprinkling', and to prove to those many, many people standing around that Jesus was the messiah, hence too the voice from heaven - which they all heard. No, Jesus had no sin.
  • John Lamendola on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
Jesus was without sin therefore he had nothing to repent of. He was Baptized to fulfill scripture. Baptizm is a type of burial where sins are remitted.
  • Coupe1942 on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
Baptism is generally done as one confesses their sins. Jesus was baptized by John. Can one assume that Jesus then confessed any sins? Not meaning anything non-religious in this question, but just following the logic of what the term baptize means and wondered.
  • Arnold Kawagle on Mark 1 - 7 years ago
Mark was Barnabas's nephew and Barnabas accept him while Paul rejected him, simply because He was not following them when they go for quest. Mark denied Christ, after feeling guilty for himself and asked for the second chance.

So i really want to have his Autobiography; His life time line . And i want to learn more about the Bible.
