40 days: Genesis 50:2-3 And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father: and the physicians embalmed Israel. And forty days were fulfilled for him; for so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed: and the Egyptians mourned for him threescore and ten days. 40 days of death of Israel. Israel wanted Jesus to be their Messiah if Jesus would follow their rule.

Disciple,I am sorry I have caused such an obvious upset in you. I do not seek wrath.
My hope has been to enlighten people to the things that are not typically taught. It is a shock to have things brought to the forefront that are usually white washed and discounted at not important, or the things that many say "a loving God would not do that". God is who he says he is, and who can change him.

A disciple's comment on 6/13/2017, 9:10pm...

Its NOT the Scriptures! Its the MIS-use of the Scriptures to continually find fault with others, WHO HAVE DONE YOU NO HARM! Typical self-centered, "don't you dare correct ME" response! May I direct your attention to Hebrews 12, which, IF you read it carefully, clearly makes the connection between keeping one's self clean and right with the Lord, and receiving correction..."chastisement" as a son!

Lu2677's comment on 6/13/2017, 1:59pm...

"Burr under my saddle" Why does the scripture that I write offend you? Jesus wants people that are not offended in him.

A disciple's comment on 6/12/2017, 8:54pm...

Lu2677; Why do got such a burr under your saddle? It seems like you just wanna be peeved at everyone, and beat 'em up over phrases and words? How about "love one another AS I HAVE LOVED YOU?" Is that really how you expect the Lord is thinking about you, and watching over you with a ruler in His hand, ready to smack you as quickly as you might not cross your T exactly right? C'mon, Brother!

Lu2677's comment on 6/12/2017, 12:08pm...

Bruce,Mark 1:10-13 After Jesus was baptized by John and the Spirit descended on him, "immediately" the Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan for forty days.I don't know of any teaching in the Bible that says when God calls someone they will be in the wilderness for forty days being tempted by Satan.Nor does it say there has to be a "tug on the heart."

Irene123's comment on 5/05/2017, 12:26pm...

" ... and John was clothed with camel's hair and ate locusts and wild honey." John wasn't the reincarnation of Elijah (Elisha? sorry, can't recall which). Just as Elijah's mantle fell on Elisha - the mantle (Ordaining) fell on John. There was no 'reincarnation'; that's witchcraft and witchcraft is rebellion - 1 Sam. 15:23. And no, I did not MISQUOTE; I did not intend to quote.

Steve morrow's comment on 4/24/2017, 8:25pm...

MARK 1:17 AND JESUS SAID UNTO THEM COME YE AFTER ME AND --- I WILL --- MAKE YOU TO BECOME FISHERS OF MEN

Steve morrow's comment on 4/18/2017, 5:43am...

MARK 1:38 AND HE SAID UNTO THEM LET US GO INTO THE NEXT TOWNS THAT I MAY PREACH THERE ALSO FOR THEREFORE CAME I FORTH ---- ACTS 3:26 UNTO YOU FIRST GOD HAVING RAISED UP HIS SON JESUS SENT HIM TO BLESS YOU IN TURNING AWAY EVERYONE OF YOU FROM HIS INIQUITIES

Steve morrow's comment on 4/18/2017, 5:31am...

MARK 1:14 NOW AFTER THAT JOHN WAS PUT IN PRISON JESUS CAME INTO GALILEE PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF KINGDOM OF GOD 1:15 AND SAYING THE TIME IS FULFILLED AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND --- REPENT YE --- AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL MARK 8:35 FOR WHOSOEVER WILL SAVE HIS LIFE SHALL LOSE IT BUT WHOSOEVER SHALL LOSE HIS LIFE FOR MY SAKE AND THE GOSPELS SHALL SAVE IT

Peter A. Okebukola's comment on 4/09/2017, 9:32pm...

Jesus went about doing good. He healed all manner of diseases. He did it before and as the God that He is, He can do it over and over again. Let us present our sick bodies to him and our sin-sick souls for healing.

Irene123's comment on 4/08/2017, 12:57am...

Yes, Jesus did heal from sickness, disease, but - that is not why He came among men. EVERYBODY, but everybody - knows why Jesus came to earth.

Ray321's comment on 3/28/2017, 1:39pm...

John the Baptist baptized Jesus for being the High Priest. It wasn't for Salvation. They were preparing Jesus for the Holy of Holy City. The King of the Jews.

Irene123's comment on 2/13/2017, 4:43pm...

When Jesus called them to follow him - they knew who He was. And Jesus knew they knew. Jesus, being God manifest, knew everything omniscience . " ... we have found Him, of whom Moses in the Law and the Prophets did write ... " These12 knew their O.T.

Irene123's comment on 2/13/2017, 4:21pm...

I've seen on here a pastor that said John the Baptist baptized using the name of Jesus. John didn't use that or any name he baptized using only the words, "for the remission of sins". Jesus' name wasn't revealed for baptism until Acts 2:38.

Irene123's comment on 2/13/2017, 4:08pm...

To P. Carboon - water baptism: Jn.3:5 Acts 8:38-39 9:18 10:47-48 16:15, v. 33 9:18

Seven Trumpets's comment on 1/29/2017, 5:17am...

"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." All since that time, to Israel first, and also to the Gentiles, the "Kingdom of heaven IS AT HAND;" but the world has not obeyed the holy Announced Glad Tidings! While many are so concerned about whether all kinds of heathen being accepted and received, they have abandoned the sanctity of their Election.

Irene123's comment on 1/10/2017, 2:38pm...

To M. Balatiheng - Where do you see that John the Baptist at a later time ate people ate? The Bible has NOTHING to say about what he ate a ta later time. Be careful - Rev. 22:18-19.

Bruce's comment on 1/06/2017, 1:17am...

Maipelo: He's poor. He wears what is easiest to come by. The food he ate was his choice. The honey made eating locusts a lot easier, something you could swallow! He ate and dressed the same all the way to death.
He was filled with The Spirit before birth. The Holy Spirit Surely helped him with life choices. Put on Christ! Feed on the Word only! That's the message. Be like John. Don't change!

Bruce's comment on 1/05/2017, 11:29pm...

Zielski: Elijah was here before Christ and died before Christ he was, John the Baptist:Matthew17:10-13, Luke1:17( talking about John the Baptist) Soon the Trump will sound! Today? A million years from now makes no difference he's coming for the "Called" John 6:44, Cleansed: 1John1:9. Baptized by the HolyGhost and Fire! Matthew3:11. Changed! You will know! 2Corinthians5:17. Impossible not to know!

Sandra Perry-Williams's comment on 1/05/2017, 6:53pm...

In the name of Jesus, We can be made Whole!

Maipelo Balatlheng's comment on 10/10/2016, 7:18am...

Chapter 1 v 6, The clothes John wears and the food he eat( what was the message because other people were wearing difference cloths and food. after the coming of Jesus he eat what others eat and clothes

Apostle David's comment on 8/26/2016, 3:34pm...

In verse 30-31 Jesus showed his power as the Son of God. Is amazing that Christians don't even know they have power so they suffer in all they do.Lets be who we are in the kingdom.
