  • A disciple
    "And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation." If it was an unworthy generation when Jesus was here, with all their hatred and hostility and contradiction against Him; what does THIS dried out old rotten tree think that God should care to give any of them a sign? What blindness!

Our faith is up to us, what we say, what we do, who we are is up to us! God has establised TRUTH

    "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (cont.) Keeping in the context of the Lord's teaching here; what is profitable for us is to save our souls through God's mercy and grace, and not have false beliefs concerning this life's worth. This world IS NOT God's final and very good plan for us for eternity; and its real condition is seen by the cross.
