When Jesus called them to follow him - they knew who He was. And Jesus knew they knew. Jesus, being God manifest, knew everything omniscience . " ... we have found Him, of whom Moses in the Law and the Prophets did write ... " These12 knew their O.T.

I've seen on here a pastor that said John the Baptist baptized using the name of Jesus. John didn't use that or any name he baptized using only the words, "for the remission of sins". Jesus' name wasn't revealed for baptism until Acts 2:38.

All since that time, to Israel first, and also to the Gentiles, the "Kingdom of heaven IS AT HAND;" but the world has not obeyed the holy Announced Glad Tidings! To M. Balatiheng - Where do you see that John the Baptist at a later time ate people ate? The Bible has NOTHING to say about what he ate a ta later time. Be careful - Rev. 22:18-19.

Maipelo: He's poor. He wears what is easiest to come by. The food he ate was his choice. The honey made eating locusts a lot easier, something you could swallow! He ate and dressed the same all the way to death.
He was filled with The Spirit before birth. The Holy Spirit Surely helped him with life choices. Put on Christ! Feed on the Word only! That's the message. Be like John. Don't change!
