I have been studying the TRUE biblical flat earth FACT for at least the past 5. Step

outside the Luciferian Lies you been brainwashed and indoctrinated and brainwashed

Flat earth? Isaiah 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the CIRCLE circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers;........ a pancake?

Is the moon also flat? Believe in Jesus and the flat earth and thou shalt be saved?

Is this something to really argue over?
  • Christian - In Reply on Luke 14:26 - 3 years ago
More and more Christians are waking up to the true biblical flat earth FACT, backed

up and supported by 200+ scriptures and common sense. We do NOT live on that

fake, spinning ball, satanic deception, anti scriptural, Luciferian, Pagan, globe hoax,

most were brainwashed and indoctrinated into believing. Praise the Lord God almighty!

The word good in V. 34 means useful. In those days, salt was a preservative. They put salt on things to keep it from putrefying. But if salt does not contain the proper ingredients, what is it good for? Jesus talks about salt and light in Matt 5:13-16. He says, "You are the salt of the earth." At this point and time in experiencing the fullness of God, He says, YOU ARE the salt of the earth. And then He says, "YOU ARE the light of the world." Salt was used for two things. It was used as a preservative. They used it to preserve food, especially meat and vegetables. They also used it for purification. In 2 Kings 2:19-23, salt was used to purify bad water.

But to know why He used the term salt, we need to understand that God made a covenant of salt with Israel ( Numbers 18:19), which God said would be upon David and his descendants. Paul in Romans Chapter 11 said all of the Jews of the Kingdom. In Matt 5:14-16, Jesus says you are salt and you are light. He went on to say that you can't take a light and put it under a bushel.

What He is saying is you can't snuff out the light of the Lord. The light amongst the Jews was the Messiah. You are salt. Christ in you is the light, and Christ in you is the purification and the preservative for the people around you and especially in your life.

The command is let your light so shine. Did you ever sing that song "This little light of mine, not going to let anybody blow it out? It can't be blown out. Nobody can blow it out. The command itself, (let your light so shine) kind of sounds like an invitation. But literally, it is "Shine your light," which is a command of God. Shine your light! I don't have to worry about going out to my car to find the light because the Lord said for me to shine it. Israel was said to be the light of the world. Isaiah 42:6, Isaiah 49:6, and Isaiah 60:3 says that the Jews were to be the salt and the light of the world.

In LUKE Ch. 14 verse 34 and 35 what does the salt mean, when it has lost it's flavor?

If you don't see imperfection in yourself and those around you, then you will not be able to learn from him.

Verse 28 is obviously Jesus mocking the tower of Babylon pointing to it whose king was transformed into a beast eating the flowers and pastures of the earth but modern theives contemplate this to be a monetary issue taking peoples money from them.

34, Jesus knew, because of sin we became unfit and useless for GOD s purpose. We lost the purpose we were created for, see Ecclesiastes 12:13. But GOD through Jesus, see John 3:16-21, again makes available GOD s purpose available to you and I, plus, through Jesus SALVATION is available to us., thereby we can be at the Marriage-Supper-Of-the-Lamb, Revelation 19:9.

Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. Note: Jesus delivered John 3:16-21 to them us, and Jesus knows HE must return to the Father, so HE entrust to those who will, too continue delivering John 3:16-21 as one of HIS disciples. Forsaking all by living according to Jehovah GOD word.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 14 - 4 years ago
verse 28-32, Jesus knew the importance of strategic-planning as it relates to Salvation, so Jesus taught us verse 28-32 as examples of strategic planning thereby we can understand there is always a cost to be considered as we live our life day-by-day, especially the cost required living as a Disciple-Of-Christ.
  • I AM THAT MICHAEL ISAAC DALE: on Luke 14 - 4 years ago
The wicked say, Jesus knows he is on His way to the cross, and, Jesus is on His way to the cross thereby providing Salvation to the world, Man shews his evil intent but confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? It is written, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 14 - 4 years ago
26-27 is given by Jesus to us to be taken into consideration. Note: Jesus is on His way to the cross thereby providing Salvation to the world, never-the-less on this particular day Jesus give to us two of His standards that must be taken into consideration, as it relate to Salvation.

verse 16-24, He prepared a Great Supper and many were bidden, but they had so much to do. So many others was Sought-Out and allowed to fill the seat of the bidden. See Revelation 19:9. Note: Jesus knows he is on His way to the cross, so His mind is on The Kingdom Of GOD.

verse 7-11 Jesus observed the actions of certain of the people, us, then Jesus give HIS formula that applies to all when needed, see verse 11.
  • Evangelist Andrew Kelly - In Reply on Luke 14 - 4 years ago
Sabbath day ended at the cross Jesus already fulfilled the Sabbath day. The Sabbath day was a day to rest, when you are resting you are not sinning. Many Christians so called pollute the sabbath day by leaving their house. Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 14 - 4 years ago
verse 1-6, Jesus once again bring clarity to them and us about the Sabbath, one of the Ten-Commandments.

I see the foolishness of pride the outreached hand to the needy care of the present life and lack of dedication to the service of God standing in the way of a walk with the Lord, the qualities of a little child is encouraged in these scripture passages.

Verse 17~The man had put all that effort into the grand evening meal and all those originally invited gave lame excuses. This showed that they didn't have any regard for the man and they were really selfish.
  • BSP on Luke 14 - 5 years ago
Verse 26~Here the word hate simply means to love to a lesser degree. In the Bible the word hate can have various meanings. Jesus certainly did not want us to be hostile toward our family or wish them any harm.

We can't let nothing come to hinder us in serving Christ.

"For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?" Let's make a parable with this, after the parable of the sower. "For he that sowed his seed with too little commitment, and with laziness, failed to cultivate, fertilize and care for the freshly planted seed. The plant died..it cost too much to take care of it."
  • Ray jay on Luke 14 - 6 years ago
Perhaps Christ is simply referencing sin and hypocrisy in all of us. The 12 apostles see and hate the sin in all of us, including themselves and they know Christ is the TRUTH, LIGHT and LIFE and are willing to follow him even if it means persecution. They are sick and tired of sin even in family. The regular crowd following Christ perhaps doesn’t understand all that; so he’s blunt to them

If we only go by what is the language of the Scriptures of truth, and forget for a few minutes all the things many teachers and pastors have SAID was the meaning; then we see that its not unlawful to actually be just, and therefore to claim that one is just. God gave us a whole Bible so that we would be just and true, toward Himself and toward each other. How else can we learn to discern judgment?
  • Servant of God on Luke 14 - 6 years ago
The resurrection of the just, no man can claim to be just and on his own sit in the higher seats lest he be shown the door, so to speak. Or before we build we asses the cost lest we be mocked for the shambles we leave behind. Who is just then is whom God deems to be just and His message to us, the Bible, contains the criterion necessary, if we read daily and absorb the meaning thru tenacity
