Wesley's Notes for Luke 6:38

6:38 Into your bosom - Alluding to the mantles the Jews wore, into which a large quantity of corn might be received. With the same measure that ye mete with, it shall be measured to you again - Amazing goodness! So we are permitted even to carve for ourselves! We ourselves are, as it were, to tell God how much mercy he shall show us! And can we be content with less than the very largest measure? Give then to man, what thou designest to receive of God.

Jesus lays down the law, doing no miracles but telling the Truth (which is quite miraculous these days). This to me is the way, not just faith but the law implied in his sermon, which on it's face is obvious but the enactment being the rarest event since Moses and the nine plagues. Sinners will love sinners, but workers in the field will love those who despitefully use them. Jesus earned bliss

The Lord used verse 26 to convince me to pray for someone who "despitefully use[d]" me. Praying for enemies is tough especially those you once considered friends but I hope to see the Lord turn that soul around.

Disciple if ya don't understand spritual things you are none of his, and to understand spritual things we must birth that spritual heavenly man which is the H.G. Thats y paul is saying as we have born the image of the earthly ( our old man ) we must also bear the image of the HEAVENLY which is our new man, thats the good man,our old man is the earthy man that cannot understand spritual things.
