Discussion for Luke 2:19

  • She must have had mixed feelings and emotions, ecstatic that she was the chosen one to bear the christ child. A very proud moment for this young woman, she perhaps at best should not have been able to contain herself. But being overshadowed by the power of the highest and being filled with the Holy Ghost, she had no choice but to behave herself . So she just kept pondering the series of events in her heart.
  • I am teaching a lesson on Zachariah in the temple and this verse came to mind. He would have done well to "kept these things in his heart and pondered them". We don't always have to "tell the whole world".
