Discussion for Luke 10

In all the various kinds of people following Jesus, look at the oneness of the word toward each kind! To the Seventy, to the Lawyer, to Martha; all speak to us about being sent into difficult situations and conditions, for the sake of doing God's work: whether we are sent out; or if we have one in front of us who needs mercy; or we need to lay aside all our "other" worries, and sit down and hear!
  • Geraldine Cole
Mary was concerned about what Jesus had to say and she wanted to learn everything she could while she could martha was like some of us selfish only thinking about what she needed at the time not saying she did not love Jesus or her sister when some people need help all they can see is themselves .mary was more concerned about hearing Jesus there is a lot of Martha spirits in this world selfish.

Mary has that attitude of listening whereas Martha worried and Mary chose the good to do. I like the fact worrying does solve the problem which means the word of god has the answer when we totally trust him.
