i have a question because i am very confused about this situation me and this guy have been dating for almost 6 years on and off we were once engaged but we broke it off. then like almost a month ago we got back together. the thing is my lil brother and my boyfriend sister have a lil boy together and they just got married on friday. now they keep saying that me and my boyfriend cant be together because thats against God and thats incest and i want to know how because me and him are not related and i have never heard of anything like that in my life. they told me to read leviticus 18 i read it and i still dont see where it says me in him cant date it was basically talking about the mother father aunts uncles and the brother marrying the brothers wife if he dies. i really need help on this because i really love him and i dont want to let him go if it doesnt say that but if it does then i will have to. please help me with this.
  • Jessica for verse 22
I just found out that my brother is gay. It's very hard for me and my family to understand because we were always religious and brought up knowing that being with another person of the same sex is wrong. We have always based everything we do on the KJV of the bible and now that he wants to be gay he is trying to tell us that this verson may not be right. Please pray for my brother and my family. We all need it so much.

Casey, most people who have a relationship with the lord line themselfs up with his word which comes from the bible, that is their guide on how to stay on track in this crazy world, you are to add nothing to it and take nothing away from it,maybe you are the one who should take a course in obedience.
  • Sherree for verse 22
HaHa it seems a little strange that you would say if you could find a women, why did'nt you say a man who does'nt want to have sex, because you never know.Do you have any children yet, because God wants us to muiltiple threw sex with your husband, and if not that way then you can adopt, either way you will still be multipling and that is Gods plan,so either you believe in the lord or you dont and it seems like you dont or you would not EVER consitter being with the same sex let alone speak the words out loud or put it on a website I'm going to need you to stay focused and stop trying to be slick and cross over to play for the other team.
  • Timothy Wayne George
Jesus is the completion the law. Grace and Truth come from Jesus. We must love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind. We must love our neighbor as thyself. God made Adam for Eve and has given us the pattern for marriage. Jesus is the truth, and we must follow him to be saved.
  • Lee
Clearly one who tries to rationalize our culture's acceptance of homesexuality and saying God does not view it as perversion is "wresting" the scriptures; trying to twist them to fit their sinful world view. If you have homosexual proclivities, you can be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and walk in the Spirit, not your flesh.
  • Aaron
lets all remain wise to the word of God. Homosexuality is a sin against God. it is written in the bible and we as Christians must obey and believe God word. God loves you, not the sin or any sin, but don't be deceived God does judge us all. He chastise those he love and he will not accept those who call wrong- right. the death of Christ has no effect on those who denies wrong doing.
  • Lindsey
Yes. Homosexuality IS SINFUL AND WRONG. Romans Chapter One makes this perfectly clear as well. God does not hate anyone, He hates what we choose to do and the fact that we chose to do it...... Sexual sin is everywhere in the world now and it's a short matter of time before we all die! So give your lives to Jesus and stop playing around and wasting time!
  • Casey for verse 22
Have you read the rest of Leviticus? It points out a lot of "sins" that I am sure all of you are guilty of committing. If this is your "proof" that homosexuality is sinful, you need to take a course on logic.
  • i agree with randy and josh but the city of soddem was destroyed because of homosexuality im not against it but im up for a good argument
  • Luis
Yes John, THAT IS DEFINITELY WRONG! God created Adam and Eve; NOT Adam and Steve! It's not in your genes. God DOESN'T make mistakes when he created us.. Satan is tricking you!

Pray to God and ask him to change your heart!
  • Teresa for verse 22
I think people should understand this also. People are taking GOD out of everything....10 commandments, prayer in schools and games, leagelizing same sex marraige. People wake up and read
  • This is how I feel. I do not like sex at all. I can go for the rest of my life without it. So, I'f I found a lady and she felt the same way, what's wrong with that? I mean there would be no sex what so ever. I have been with men and now married at the moment. I hate having sex! Call me crazy if you want lol!!! I really feel if I found a lady that thinks as I do, I would be so much more happy. Please someone let me know your thought's on this please. I mean there would be love for eachother, but no urge for sex.
  • I really wish more people would read this passage. It's clear and simple: God says homosexuality is sinful. However, God does not hate the sinner. He hates the sin.
  • Ed
John.. Read Lev.20 --13 Put God first in your life, trust in him and he will personally instruct you. Read your Bible.
  • Lucas for verse 25
what are the other related verses that talk about a defiled land and also that land can vomit
  • Randy
The meaning of Lev 18:22 is clear and your argument is with God. Rest assured, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord as explained in Philippians 2:10
    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

    Titus 3:3
For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, [and] hating one another.

    Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

    Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

God doesn't make sinners, people choose the wrong path. Be not deceived for Satan can transform himself into an angel of light as stated in 2 Corinthians 11:14: And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Sin, on any kind, has the capacity to look or feel good from our polluted perspective but sin always will take you where you don't want to go, keep you there longer than you want to stay and cost you more than you ever wanted to pay. Fighting a battle with Satan is never easy. We have the Holy Spirit as our aid. Jesus sits on the right hand of God as our advocate every time Satan tells God what we did wrong. I hope you've received Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior. The battle is lost otherwise. May the Lord put a hedge of protection around you and may only the Holy Spirit minister to your heart. May your heart not be hardened. Christians out here love you and only want what is best for your life and for the life of your buddy. God has good planned for each of your lives. Satan brings discouragement while God offers hope and life everlasting.
  • John
I think first off that being gay and living a gay lifesyle are two different things. I do not agree with men marrying one another because marriag is sacred. However, I feel a strong bond with a man who feels the same way about me. I am simply not attracted to women. It's in my genes. I want to live this man and care for him and love him but not marry him. he has more sexual urges than I do. He lives a wild lifestyle but he's not reckless. I like to be near him a lot. Is that wrong?
  • Wayne
IN response to Harrisons statement about sex;Jesus made a differance about it in St.John 4:16-18.
  • Harrison
I am lost about sex, where does it say you must be married before sex even if you are in a committed relationship and you love that person you with.
  • Randy for verse 22
God's word is plain and needs no addition or subtraction. God hates sin but not the sinner as seen in John 3:16.
