Just like any other transgression we've committed before we were born again, you're forgiven for Tattoos, but you're not to continue in getting ink, or any other transgressions you do. Otherwise you can't continually sin. Grace covers most of it, as a Pentecostal we believe in Conditional Eternal Security, not Unconditional Eternal Security, the term mostly used for it is Once Saved Always Saved

" ..... nor print ANY marks upon you: I AM the LORD." what part of 'any' does one not understand? This COMMAND refers to ONLY after one has repented and been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sins. God does forgive any their 'marks' they have AFTER coming to Him, but we are not to get any more after coming to Him.

Hi Todd. I don 't have any tattoos, but I have noticed on others 'Christian ' tattoos, for example of crosses and even the last supper, and have considered getting one. I actually found seeing these tattoos to be quite inspiring, how anyone could have such a love for God and the Lord that they 'd be prepared to put on themselves such a display for all to see. Whether we should or shouldn 't have them however, I admit I 'm not quite sure and think that I will remain with having any done. That said it seems that the use personal fashioning, whether it be tattoos, the wearing of a cross or clothing with Christian designs on, these are ways people use to put their faith on display the effect of which might be perhaps getting others to become interested in the Gospel and might even make meeting other Christians easier, such as in places and instances where it might be difficult to start an ordinary conversation, such as in a work place, providing your employer doesn 't mind of course! Really interesting subject, thanks for sharing. God bless!!
