Verse 32 commands that we respect older ones. The way we treat older ones will have an effect on our relationship with God.

This statute is yes, as many have stated to show separateness from the world as well as keeping from the ways of the nations surrounding the Israelites. It is not only for the priests if you read completely you will see that. It is stated twice in the Book of the Law so Yehovah means it. Also it is NOT only for the Jew Judah . It is for ANY who will place themselves under the authority of the Father in heaven. Read the narrative from the giving of the Law at Mount Sinai. "To those also afar off who are not here with you... " Means just that. Christianity today has adopted so many polluted Babylonian Sun-god worship practices, taken from Rome, they really don 't know who they are in the LORD Yehovah . Stop worshipping the Son and follow His leading. He told us He did not come to be worshipped. Turn your heart to the Father as that is what Yeshua Jesus came to do. RECONCILE back to the Father. Read the TORAH and the rest of the Scriptures in the context they were written. Then you will be better able to understand who this God is you say you worship... and begin to FEAR Him.
  • God created us in His image. He might not recognize us when he returns for his children. I don 't like tatoos, but were we created with makeup, short hair, jewlery, etc. We are all in a sinful world in need of repentance, but Gods Grace is sufficient. Do you eat shrimp? lobster, catfish? God forbid some of those things in His Wor. d, but it was because they weren 't good for your body. Jesus paid the price for our sins, and we do sin every day. Why do we do the things we would not, and not do the things we should. We need forgiveness every day. Pray God 's guidence in all you do, and IF you feel convicted of anything, just don 't do it again. The Holy Spirit convicts us, and we shouldn 't do it.God is a merciful God and forgives our sins. He paid the price, and said, IT IS FINISHED!!!

My understanding of Leviticus 19 is that you cannot serve God and mammon you will love one and hate the other. Simply put, you cannot serve God and the devil. Seek King Jesus alone.

Leviticus is an OLD TESTAMENT book written to and for the OLD TESTAMENT JEWS. The Apostle Paul makes it ABUNDANTLY clear in Galatians that following the OLD LAW or the First Torah which is the First 5 Books of the Old Testament, is now a curse after Christ 's death on the Crucifix. All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. Galatians 3 10 If we rely on following the Law the Torah, the first five books of the Bible we are under a curse. The passage above, Galatians 3 10, contains a quote from the Law itself, Deuteronomy 27 26. According to Paul s statement below, things have changed. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. Galatians 3 13 It was Jesus death on the cross that rescued us from the curse of the Law. If we insist on following the Law and imposing the Law on others, we negate the cross of Christ, and repudiate Christ s death on the cross.
