Jn. 8:32- "And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free." There is one thing forever true about the freedom truth brings: the freedom that comes when we know truth - is a 'conditional' freedom. It does not free us from the result of our deeds; the freedom that comes wit truth - is the freedom - to CHOOSE - " ... choose ye this day whom ye will serve ... "; Josh. 24:15.

Jesus came into the world a light : the light reveals the sin in our lives : the darkness that we are walking in . Jesus also came to save us to the uttermost from our sins : If we choose to continue to walk with our Lord we will allow the light to rid us of our deeds !!! Walking with God is not a romantic adventure . Walking with our Lord is Light , Love and Victory ,and Strength !!

WHEN WE LEARN TO THROW OUR STONES DOWN AND PICK UP THE ROCK JESUS , THEN WE WANT HAVE TIME TO THROW STONES AT ANYBODY ELSE! I SAY AGAIN JESUS MAKES UP THE DIFFERENCE IN THE AREAS WE TEND TO FAIL AT IN OUR LIFE! LORD THANK U FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO LOVE OTHERS THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS WHO FIRST LOVE ME! AMEN! GLORY BE TO GOD!

John 8-7Jesus was without sin.but he did not condem her. But he helped her. And told her go and sin no more. It show 's the love Jesus Christ has for sinners
  • Jeffrey on John 8 - 8 years ago
Romans 3:23 goes with John chapter 8. For all have come short of the glory of God. If we are to be true followers of Christ, we have to stop condemning one another and start loving each other. We are all sinners so we should not judge others. John 3:16-17 say 's for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not parish but have eternal life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. So saints if Jesus didn 't condemn us who are we to condemn others. Lets live out the Lords commandment which is to love others as Christ loves the church. Be blessed and stay strong in the Lord.
  • Don lefebvre on John 8:32 - 8 years ago
Jesus was indeed speaking of himself and not dead letter.search the scriptures for in them ye think you have eternal life and these are they that tell of me.being one with christ in spirit is true freedom.
  • Tapiwa on John 8 - 9 years ago
the woman was caught in an act of adultery what of the man she was with? that is the first reason why the pharisees could not stone him they wr man who valued the law yet they were bribed Jesus writting is well said in Daniel 5 v 5 on the bases of John 5 v 35-39 that all the scriptures talk of Christ he was fulfilling a scripture that unto the isrealiteslwa was given yet they abused the law and did not know that which it meant. hebrews 10 v 1 the law was described by paul as a shadow of the good things to come which means it was to keep the people until the coming of the good things which is the law of grace, faith and truth which came through Christ that is why Jesus on matthew 23v23 said condemed the pharisees for valuing lighter matters of the law which included tithing yet forsaking other matters which were of much relevance, it also points out that tithing is just a lighter matter but to those who live under grace we give out of love not law tithing is smuggling the law yet the law was meantonly for the lsrealites....
  • Laura on John 8:41 - 9 years ago
I have no theology background, but can it not mean both? I read it as an insult. They didn 't believe Jesus was who he said he was, so why would they believe the immaculate conception. It seems they had the attitude of: Who are you to teach us? You 're not a Pharisee...you don 't even know who your father is and your mom was unmarried! We 're Purebred pharisees! Is my perspective a stretch? It was no secret that Jesus was born of a virgin, but I bet it was doubted and discredited at the time back then.

HE IS LOVE AND LIGHT AND GIVES THE LIGHT OF LIFE QUESTION I HAVE BEEN ASKED COULD HITLER OR A SERIAL CHILD RAPIST I SAY HE IS THE WAY THEY MUST REPENT AND FLEE THE SIN FOLLOW THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD AND TURN FROM THE ANGEL OF LIGHT THAT BEARTS DARKNESS TURN TO THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. "
  • Nakisha Hudgins on John 8 - 9 years ago
There is a "light of life ". Unfortunately, many live in the "darkness of life ", because the darkness cannot comprehend or understand the light. Jesus is the Light of the world
  • Ray ortiz on John 8:12 - 9 years ago
We are born to love darkness because of our sin nature. The Holy Spirit of God will guide us to the Light.
  • Vixie on John 8:12 - 9 years ago
I like the verse because jesus want us to follow him we can 't see the light if we are full of darkness
  • Simplebeing on John 8:58 - 9 years ago
There are lots of verses that indicated that Jesus is the One and the same God, and there are some too that indicated that He is the Son and not the Almighty One. This things are beyond our minds, but I prefer to believe that He is the only One. It make sense to me that the One who saved mankind is the same One who created us, because it will not make sense If the Almighty God we are talking about is not the one who sacrificed Himself for His creations. All His sacrifices will be futile.
  • Blessed on John 8 - 9 years ago

Because of some prior teaching they may need to hear the verse GROW IN GRACE AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST Also another verse First seek ye the kingdom of GOD and all it 's righteousness Remember that GOD 'S mercy endureth forever We have an advocate in JESUS CHRIST
  • John on John 8:58 - 9 years ago
What I believe Jesus was saying was, that yes Abraham was a great man but before he was aware of being Abraham. He was aware of Being - I AM. In other words I AM is pure unconditioned being. An individual expression of God and not separate in any way. Only in Spirit can one be individual and yet not separate. You I AM are aware of becoming conditioned as a physical form. Before you were aware of being who you are, you were aware of just -Being. I AM aware of being. Now when the I AM becomes defined in any way it is limited. So first you are I AM. Pure unconditioned being that is one with God- I AM that I AM. Notice here the name of God remains undefined or unlimited. There is no real definition here because to define the I AM is to limit it and God cannot be limited. The misunderstanding comes from the idea that Jesus was referring to himself personally. He was referring to the I AM or Christ within. The very essence of his being. This give us the power to proclaim the I AM for ourselves. This is not an ego thing. This is you identifying with the very essence of yourself to be whole and complete. The I AM can be seen as the Christ within. That is where we knock and it is opened.
  • Tasha Edwards on John 8:32 - 9 years ago
When Jesus died on the cross and for everyone so we can live free from sin....Jesus is the true. ..he is the way the truth and the life. ...everyone is looking for a way out but don 't nobody want to suffer and go through everybody looking for the truth but don 't know by one obey the truth.....everyone is looking to live a better life but there is no better life and living it for Christ he said I am the way the truth and the life. .....this is all we nee he 's all we got so we must live for Him because He gave His only begotten Son so we can live free from sin
