  • Mark on John 7 - 9 years ago
The holy spirit is a living entity flowing through the water and blood of Jesus. He who believes and accepts the holy spirit into their soul shall do good deed to help humanity reach our heavenly Father in the promised house of heaven. God wants all of his children to be there. The road to heaven is narrow, the road to hell is wide. Help all mankind to choose the narrow path, accept that all may not choose.

Verses 37 40 "On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, 'Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. ' By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified. " During the Feast of Tabernacles the people would go to the pool of Silom, draw water, and pour it into a basin. They would look up to heaven and say to God, "Thank you for this water. " But they didn 't know that God was standing right in front of them. He called himself Jesus. So this moved Jesus to say to them, "If you are really thirsty, come to me and drink. I am the God you are asking for water. I am the one who said to you in Isiah 41, 'When the poor and needy search for water, and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the Lord, will answer them. ... ' " Water, here, as John said, is symbolic of the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus as God gives to us to help us understsand who he is. To put it plainly, you will never know that Jesus is God unless the Holy Spirit inspires you to believe. May God bless you!

The full moon is a symbol off the church Jesus established 2000 years ago.On the day of the great feast Sukkot Jesus stood up and said the words in John 7v32.On 15 April there will be a bloody moon on Passover and 10 August a blood moon on Sukkot. Nothing will happened on that days. The blood moons is just a sign from God shown us on earth the persecution of the Church between 30ad and 70aD. The blood of Jesus and all the prophets and disciples that where killed for the sake of His Kigdom and church.

Even though we are not firemen, we can not sit by and let our neighbours house burn down without trying to help. As Christians, we need to help our brothers in Christ if and when we see their walk is weak or even wrong. We have to remember the sin in our own lives, repent from them, clean them up with the blood of Christ before we reprove or rebuke another brother, or sister. When Jesus said to not try and remove the mote from thy brothrers eye ( Matthew 7:5 ) before we remove the beam from our on eyes, He said "Then we can see clearly to remove the mote from thy brothers eye". Many people miss the last part of that verse. It is not that we judge not, but that we make sure there are no greater sins in our own lives before we judge another. Apostle paul said, He that is spiritual judgeth all things. We can not be Christians and not judge. We can not be THE judge and we dare not judge someones salvation. Thus, Judge not according to appearence, but judge righteous judgement

The referred brothers could have been Joseph's children born from other wife or wives married before Mary. There is an element of superiority and jealousy typical of polygamy elder brothers irked by obvious popularity being gained by young brother from Joseph's young wife.

  • TIMOTHY WAYNE GEORGE on John 7 - 12 years ago
The Law says a man is innocent until proven guilty, but many of the Jews were trying to kill Jesus before his time. Many marveled at the wisdom of Jesus, and he said he received it from God the father who sent him. Therefore Jesus moved about secretly, because his hour had not come. Yet he said if any man would believe on him, then out of his belly would flow rivers of living water. Jesus said this because when the Holy Spirit comes, this is what will happen after he has been Glorified. We who believe in Jesus have the Holy Spirit living in us, and the belly of living waters that Jesus spoke about. Let us not be devided, as many of the Jews were of that day, but let us judge righteously as Jesus said.
God always moves in the fulness of time, and Jesus new when he was to die on the cross for the sins of the world. He said I came down from heaven not to do my will, but the will of the father who sent me. Praise God he is never late or early, but is always on time. We too will be blessed when we move in God's appointed time.
