In deep thinking, I Can't even begin to Phantom God's Love, because He God gave his Only begotten Son Jesus for Me...a Sinner. I don't know any human living that would do that for this World. to Irene123 Yes, one only has to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and died for all your sin. Repentance comes with the indwelling and filling of the Holy Spirit. He convicts you of the sin that separates you from Jesus and once as a believer ( born again - saved) He convicts the believer of judgement at the judgement seat of Christ. Not eternal judgement but judgement unto reward.
when I got saved ( I was catholic ) so I went to confession and I told the Priest in confession what had happened to me cause I was a changed soul!! I told Him about these very verses !! And I'll be !! He quit the priesthood to really serve God in the right and proper way and His last sermon as a priest was to tell the truth about JESUS and to tell us he was leaving and dusting his shoes off !!

Get baptized because Jesus commands it, and did so himself. Born again is only from God's spirit and occurs differently with different persons.
