    2 Corinthians 4:6

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Alex comments on the Trinity,God wd not tell Moses his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob, which was father son and Granson if his Kingdom were not a trinity a family just like the Abrahamic trinity was a family that resulted in the nation of ISRAEL. Without this heavenly trinity there can NOT be an Israel of GOD, ITS SIMPLY FATHER SON AND GRANSON THAT IS GONNA BECOME THE ISRAEL OF GOD,thats y God told Moses that his name was Abraham Issac n Jacob, that is my name forever and my memorial to ALL GENERATIONS. the Abrahamic trinity was an exact profile of the heavenly trinity as God offered up his only son just as Abraham offered up his only son Issac. a 5 yr old can understand this father son and granson scenario, without it there can not be an Israel of God, Its GOD Almighty that wants a posterity and Christ was just his 1st born of many brethren,Thats y God swore by his VERY SELF when he made that Promise of multiplication MEANING THERE HAS TO BE AN ISRAEL OF GOD, God is gona be multiplied, thats y Jesus will go forth and sow his precious seed in humanity. The very fact that we have a FATHER AND A SON BEGS THE QUESTION OF A GRANSON and an Israel of God . The heavenly trinity is an exact profile of Abraham Issac and Jacob thats what Abraham means exaulted Father. The child of promise was issac but the Promise Child in the heavenly is the H.G. as Jesus refers to the H.G as the Promise of the Father And thats y the sower will go forth to sow his Precious seed in humanity that God might be multiplied in us sinners resulting in an Israel of God. The Abrahamic trinity was just the basics .As Abraham was multiplied as the sands of the seas, which is just prophetic that Christ is gonna be mulltipled as the STARS OF HEAVEN in mankind thats y he calls himself the son of man i.e. God is gonna be multiplied in humanity via the seed of CHRIST.Thats y Jesus said to whom the WORD HIS SEED came it made them GODS, Jesus cd not sow the GOOD seed TH SEED OF GOD if he were not God th SON.

Thomas the one that was faithless when he sees Jesus says My Lord and My God !

Ok so now Thomas the unbeliever is an expert all of a sudden and the Godhead has a verse proving it s self as Doctrine.

Oh but wait a minute read the rest of the chapter.

It's because Thomas has seen the Lord risen he now believes that Jesus is risen . Not that Jesus is God . But yes it's Gods power no doubt about it .

Read verse 31 : death to the God head doctrine, again .

It's always good to keep things in context .

But these are written , that ye might believe that Jesus is the CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD; and that believing ye might have life through his name .

    Case closed again !

No GOD the Son even though Thomas acknowledged that God is in Jesus , that's true , but not the same as GOD THE SON that's heresy .

It's good for Christians to ask questions like about the sabbath and discuss it. To me that's part of trying to optimize their live to avoid sin and please the Lord. That shows they care about doing what's right. Christianity (following Christ) is an active pursuit which involves behavior modification, growth, and trying to serve others to the best of our ability. Some of this is trial and error, discovering our gifts, and asking questions. So, questions and respectful discussions are welcomed. I think studying the scripture and asking questions more likely leads to strengthening faith. God bless.
  • Mishael on the Sabbath Debates on John 20 - 3 years ago
    Mark 2:27

And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

    Matthew 12:8

For the Son of man is LORD EVEN OF THE SABBATH DAY.

    Mark 2:28

Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

    Luke 6:5

And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Clearly The Lord is saying that HE IS the Lord of the Sabbath. If you will scour the NEW TESTAMENT on the Sabbath, you will quickly see that Jesus not only healed people on the Sabbath; He preached to thousands on the Sabbath.

The Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes all banded together to destroy Jesus for it, too.

What kind of people call themselves Christian followers of Jesus and lead others to believe we Get To Debate which day of the week is the Sabbath?

How very hastily we walk the wide road into Apostacy. Or, loss of reward at The Bema Seat Judgement of Christ: where there will be rewards or loss of rewards?

Jesus says clearly that He alone is the Lord of the Sabbath. We follow Jesus; not what the world, or other religions teach.

Didn't Jesus pay enough for us to believe what he said and did?

Why don't we dig into the scriptures of what Apostacy is? I've never seen that one debated in here. It's about knowing the right things to do or just walking away from it altogether.

Don't email because this subject is closed, for me, for now.

Born of God - Born Again

Most people on this website claim to be so-called Christians, but in truth are they followers of Jesus Christ or do they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9)?. Most of them also claim to be so-called 'Born Again', which means 'Born of God', but are they, or is it a form of self-transformation ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15), while in truth they are wearing the wrong garment ( Psalm 6:8; Matthew 7:20-23; 9:16; 22:2-14; Mark 2:21; Luke 5:36)?

For answers to the above questions we invite you to peruse the earlier Comment below.

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

From the cross Jesus said, " forgive them they don't know what they are doing." Where would we be now if He had not said that? Stephen said," lay not this sin to their charge." Did this act of forgiveness have any impact on Saul's (Paul) life? Where would we be now missing 13 books of the New Testament? God has already forgiven humanity, we need to forgive each other. If we don't forgive we put ourselves in bondage.

In John14:Thomas is asking questions, not unlike us. What comes out are the words "I Am the way,the truth and the life"! Again this chapter Thomas says "unless I can put my fingers into the nail print and thrust my hand into his side". Christ chose the twelve, He new who was given Him from the Father. He knows Thomas and was expecting the questions that others did not ask! Thomas very bold then, even now in this chapter. This is important for us, when we want answers or have doubts. Gods timing with Thomas should help us to know that we are chosen, that their will be times when we will be separated and alone, the doubts and questions that arise, Christ will answer in time, that God knows you better than you know yourself.Christ understands these things because He was tempted like we are! If seeing is believing, than believing is seeing.Thomas steps out, but he returned in Gods time. Kneeling and seeing and confessing my Lord and my God! Blessed are those who have not seen but believe!

The business for Jesus in John can be instruction for a Sunday meeting between two or more people during those times especially in chapter 20 for John and I believe carry that message for instructions on business dealings between women and men follows through a hunter and gathering for being instructive and at the same time ready for fruit giving process of a healthy readingness for that finish in business dealings. Thank you and have a good day, says he; the Lord Jesus Christ at the end and such that in the dialogues for Plato. There are similarities and contrasts to be made here_; thus what's going on here?

While they did receive the Holy Ghost at this point, it was not the infilling of the Holy Ghost as on the Day of Pentecost. This was nothing more than Christ imparting the Holy Spirit for ministry in what they were about to do. NO ONE receives more than one infilling of the Holy Ghost and that is happens at conversion. So while they did receive the Spirit from Christ it was not the infilling as they received in the upper room.

30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book,31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have Life through his name.

Thomas went from cold to hot which is great.... Revelation chapter 3 says it is not good to be lukewarm. Sad to say there is a lot of these lukewarm going on today, they blow nether cold nor hot and I wonder who is really saved. Jesus said you honor me with your lips but your heart is far from me.

A Greater than Solomon is Here( Matthew 12:42, Luke 11:31) Christ is Taking About Himself. Jesus is The Greater Than Solomon. People Came From Faraway to Hear Solomon. Very Few are Coming to Hear Christ.

Where in The Bible are The Scriptures to Support, 12 Times it was Prophesized that Solomon would Come out of David's Loin, in The Old Testament? The Meaning of Solomon is Not Comforter. It Means Peace, His Name Shall be Solomon, I Will Give Peace and Quietness Unto Israel in His Days( 1Chronicles 22:9)
