This has been my favourite verse from childhood. I have found it to be true. God has been there for me through every calamity and upheaval in my life and will continue to be there. Amen.

I would like to comment on Jonacani's. when you are making a statement concerning GOD, you need to spell it correctly and NEVER use his name in lower case "god". The difference is, "god" is pertaining to an object Idol that is forbidden by GOD the Father in Heaven.

pray is a short test it's shows to god how u full fil your soul or your spiritual life by the word of god in your evry day living,,,because pray come from the word god....

I am no scholar of the word but why make it so complicated, God sent us his only begotten SON, he is the perfect sacrifice, for all of our sins, he saved us, and no more are we separate from GOD.

Christ came into this world to serve a purpose... deity in service to die. The crusifiction was the only natural death that fullfiled the spiritual death of the soul. To die is to gain... dying out in the flesh means to be rid of our lusts and desire to sin no more. If your eye sins... cut it out... is a parable not a comand. Committing suicide is a sin. Giving your soul to free a brother or sister in Christ from sin to save that person from eternal hell is what Christ wants. Let the supernatural type the natural and watch what God can do... What a mighty God we serve. If a friend was sinning and for me to save that person would cause me to sin would I not want to save that person's soul? Though God knows my heart and because I trust in my God... all is well. Even if my flesh body gets in the way. I am not ashamed to serve my God.

Edward, I do not think, this verse meant to commit suicide... We can die for a friend by our enemy, taking our life fro loving that person, but to take our own life is a sin.. For we have to remember God feeds the birds an animals in the woods, we should not worry about who feeds them, for God does supply to those who truly love him... There is no excuse for suicide, the thought could have been nice, but besides being a sin, it would have put his family in a pain an suffering state for his killing himself.. Giving up your life, in this text is, Loving all no matter what, an living the way Jesus did, taking on a life that can be a harmful one too you, but trusting it God to give you strength..

We should in turn love him

wow I love this chapter so very much it makes me to realize how Jesus really love me by laying down his life for me what a great love. and it is equally motivating me to tell others about this great love, it is only when we realise that he layed down his life for us , that Is when we are motivated to talk about him

great news to me i have learn from this word and i get my self that who am i on his face.

I believe this all about Jesus telling us that there exists no greater love that how He was gloried in His death and resurrection for us. Christ's glorified so that we may experience this is the best gift God could give us. Himself. Everything points to the glory of God. The fact that we can experience joy in knowing him this way is what I believe Jesus is telling us here. John 17:24 shows how Jesus' prayer was that He would glorify the Father by the means of Himself being gloried and we would be able to savor it for all time. By giving us this gift, God is revealing the greatest love of all-Himself. I buve John 15:13 is not about us but about Christ. About He was glorified and how we the joy in experience His glory. This is divine live for us.

How can you say you love me someon you cannot see but in the same breath hate your fellow man YOU MUST LOVE YOUR ENEMY NO MATTER HOW MUCH WRONG IS DONE TO YOU JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS SHED HIS BLOOD BUT REMAIN ON THE CROSS FOR ME THAT I MAY HAVE A FULL LIFE THAT'S WHY I BELIEVE IN HIS WORD AND KNOW IT IS TRUE

verse 20. You can't be greater than Jesus, he is your Lord and Master, Rabbi and even more your best friend. they would do to you what they did to Him because for you to follow in his footsteps, you also have to follow in his footsteps that passed through persecution and temtation.

At the time when it will be necessary too deny Jesus or be persecuted and killed, having these verses memorized will give me the Word too focus on and strengthened by.

Verse 5 means that for anyone to be successful in life or to fulfil the plan and purpose of God for his her life, then he must remain connected to his source Jesus Christ . For example no matter how big a branch of an Iroko tree grows, It can never grow to become a tree, it remains a branch and once it is cut off from the stem, it withers. iam a true vine n my father z a husbandman every branches that beareth no fruit he take it away meaning that when someone does come up with good things in ur life God see him her useless in your life n remove hm her God loves us

Chapter 15 verse 13 is talking about Jesus laying down his life for a believer. He calls us his friends. If a person kills himself because he wants a family to have money. In Gods sight , it would be murder.

let 's abide the love of God.

What if a person was old and was about to have to be committed to a nursing home. This person had saved 450,000 dollars, and in less than seven years the nursing home would have all of that money. This person is caring for a mother and six children in Mexico and wants to put this money in trust for this family, so, rather than going into the nursing home if he took his own life so that the money would go to support this family for many, many years. Would it be a sin? Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one 's life for one 's friends. So is it a sin, or an act of great love. Would someone with more wisdom than me, please give me the answer to this

I believe the word of GOD

If God love us first, we must then love one another. Starting with our closest one. Amen

We shall abide in true vine,so that we may bareth fruits,the fruits we have given will make other people to be followers of Jesus Christ,the spirit of truth comfort us to be the witness of Jesus Christ.Amen

Gods words are our daily food to eat " daily and digest , is the Spirit for our life!

Father, I ask tonight for healings for my wife 's grandmother and her heart condition. I have seen you work miracles in my life more time than I could ever remember, things that I saw your fingerprints for a sign and knew they were gifts from heaven. I pray that you also leave your fingerprint in her healing for a sign to help spread your Gospel and glorify your Son. I ask in faith. In Jesus 's name. Amen. The LORD 's fingerprint is when you witness somthing that couldn 't shouldn 't wouldn 't happen but you pray for it and it does! Praise the Lord!

And if you keep not his commandments ... in whose love shall ye abide? His servant ye are to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey!

Jesus there is no Jehovah Jireh is just you my Lord thank you so much for the blessing that you have given us, your goodness and mercy always following us. I love you Lord and i will keep your commandments until rapture. Praised God and thank you Jesus for shedding your blood to us. Thank you for being a good Shephered to us that you lay down your life to comfort us. You are worthy to be praised forever.
