Lois, when you make the comment that there are three beings in the Godhead bodily. You pray to the father, you pray to the son, and you pray and talk to the Holy Ghost, you may not be saying the words but your actions indicate along with others who believe in the trinity that there are three gods. When in reality there is only one who holds three positions.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Lois, Even though you may be done commenting on this post. You still do not understand what I have been saying. I stated the scripture states that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. There is only one God who holds all three offices or titles. In him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily. There is no three Gods. There is no trinity in that you have to worship. The only one you have to address for as your salvation is Jesus Christ. He is the father. He is the son. He is the Holy Ghost.

To evangelist chatauna robinson 's john chapter 14 remark of 10 12 2014. I don 't and never dismissed john chapter 1 and content of it. Only, you are interpreting it differently. I suggest you start studying "meleti " we say it in Greek, again, carefully and with an open spirit.

thats a wonderful word,Jesus Christ is preparing a nice place for us so as he promised that I'll come back and take you there as I have promised. I am glad that one he will come back and take us to be with Him and His Father.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Part 3 of 3 One last comment, Ar, you know how it states out of the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. 2 Corinthians 13 1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established . Well if you choose not to believe John s writing when he states the Jesus is God manifested in the flesh, then perhaps you will believe Timothy. 1 Timothy 3 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory .
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Part 2 of 3 To further validate that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. Revelation Chapter 1 verses 17 18 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not I am the first and the last I am he that liveth, and was dead and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen and have the keys of hell and of death . Now who was alive and died? Jesus Christ in his human form but his Deity or soul or spirit lives forever. His flesh died but the soul which is the Deity lived. This is what happens to us. Our bodies will die and return to the dust from which it came. However, our souls or spirits will live forever either in Hell or Heaven. Jesus who is both Lord and Christ stated that he is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last. There is no other God. His name is Jesus Christ. This is his true name. In the Old Testament he had many names. In the New Testament his name was declared. The same John who wrote Revelation is the same John who wrote John Chapter 1. So you have to go right back to Jesus was God manifested in the flesh.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Part 1 of 3 Ar When you read Revelation Chapter 1 verses 7 8 Behold, he cometh with clouds and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty . This is Jesus Christ letting you know that he was in the beginning and he is the beginning and the ending there is no other God but him. Ephesians 4 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. He is now, he was then and he is to come. So you have to ask yourself who is coming back. Jesus Christ is coming back.

People putting words in my mouth is a big pet peeve of mine....again ...I never said there were 3 Gods to worship..Im done commenting on this post...
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Ar, In addition to my three part response I would like to add. Ephesians 4 5 "One Lord, one faith, one baptism ". There is only one. If it was three then this verse would have been written differently.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Part 3 of 3 You have to keep this flesh under subjection of the Lord. You have to pray and ask God to help you with lust of the eye, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. Once again even though we are made up of three parts body, soul, and spirit we are still one being. There is not three of me. I am one being. In my body houses my soul and the spirit of God, which is the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ being both Lord and Christ was made up of body, soul, and spirit. He was much man. He ate, slept, and was tempted as we are. As God he was reconciling the world unto himself. In 2 Corinthians 5 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation . In the end Ar, you cannot dismiss John Chapter one and the contents therein.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Part 2 of 3 This flesh will not hinder the soul or the spirit at all. The flesh will die but the soul will live on forever, either in hell or in heaven. In Galatians 5 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh and these are contrary the one to the other so that ye cannot do the things that ye would . Galatians 6 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting . The flesh and body is always at war with one another. This is why Paul stated he die daily.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Part 1 of 3 Hello Ar, I am glad to hear from you. A person is made up of body, soul, and spirit. In 1 Thessalonians 5 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ . But a person is still just the one individual. In that one individual dwells all three facets of his being. So then the God we serve cannot make himself like this as well? The flesh cried out to the Deity. See this flesh that we look at every day in the mirror is not going to Heaven, but the soul that inhabits this body is going if they have followed Acts 2 38 or during the tribulation get their head chopped off. The flesh does not want to go through persecution or pain of any kind. We as human beings we do not even want to get a cold if we can help it.

wow...even a BIGGER WOW!! Found this documentation..The LORD JESUS!! My God ..my Father thank you for showing my heart and mind this false teacher who comes is your name but is false! There is Only One God Oneness Pentecostals declare that the Godhead consists of only one Person and deny the traditional doctrine of the Trinity. They maintain that the only real person in the Godhead is Jesus. Thus, they are often referred to as the Jesus Only Movement. They maintain that God exists in two modes, as the Father in heaven and as Jesus the Son on earth. Nevertheless, they are the same person, not two separate persons. The Holy Spirit is not regarded as a person at all, merely a manifestation of Jesus power or a synonym for Him. Several verses are quoted to establish this view such as Colossians 2 9 NKJV , For in Him Jesus dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Oneness theologians would argue that if the Father and the Son were separate, then the Godhead could not fully dwell in Christ. They also look to Matthew 28 19 to affirm their views that Jesus commanded His disciples to baptize in the name singular of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Wow.....this even explains more of what I knew in my heart was NOT true..I thank the Lord Jesus ,my Father Holy Spirit for showing the truth! The modern Pentecostal movement is generally regarded to have begun in 1901 in a chapel prayer meeting in Topeka, Kan., led by Charles Parham, a teacher at Bethel Bible College. A few years later, in 1906, the Pentecostal experience of speaking in tongues burst on the scene during a revival in an African American Baptist church on Azuza Street in Los Angeles, Calif. Following these beginnings, Pentecostal preachers and churches spread rapidly, coalescing into various denominations and factions. In 1913, one popular teacher, R.E. McAlister of Toronto, Ont., began teaching that the Trinity doctrine was untrue and that baptism should be done correctly in Jesus name only not in the traditional Trinitarian formula. Other preachers, such as Frank J. Ewart and John G. Scheppe, joined McAlister in his non Trinitarian perspective

Jesus is now with my Heavenly Father preparing my place for me us .What I will live in in heaven with my Lord is what I do with my Lord Jesus here in this life . I believe the word teaches that what we lay up in heaven here in this life is what we will have in heaven forever . I must be diligent to keep my affairs in proper perspective and order here because it determines what my life will be with my Lord God through out eternity. What I receive from my Lord is mine through out eternity !!!! I desire a closeness with my Lord !!!! I have had some great experiences with my Lord and I have had some fall downs my sins with my Lord. I hope He will be able to say " Well done thou good and faithful servant ". Rejoicing with good expectancy !!!

To Evangelist Chatauna Robinson remark of 10 11 2014 I refer to just three verses which Jesus said while walking in this world. There are many others referring to God separately in other chapters of the NT , including Revelation. Who is this Father that Jesus is praying and talking about? Mark 13 32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father Mat. 26 42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done Luke 23 3434 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Hello Ar, Once again the very first Chapter of John, verse 1 states In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Verse 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Verse 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Who was in the world? The answer is Jesus Christ. The Word was God and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. The answer is Jesus Christ.

Hello Lois, When you say that there are three in the Godhead this is still saying that you and Ar believe that there are three Gods to worship. This is still not true. The scripture states in Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. This scripture does not say that he dwells with two other beings. Jesus stands alone as the chief cornerstone. He is both Lord and Christ. Peter declared this on the Day of Pentecost.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Josh, You are absolutely correct. There is no three Gods there is only one. He is both Lord and Christ. See Josh, in the Old Testament God had many names. In the New Testament he declared his name and that is Jesus Christ.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Mockingbird, I am glad to know that you are filled with the Holy Ghost. See some people say they are filled but they have not spoken in other tongues as the spirit of God give utterance. This is the true evidence of the true Holy Ghost.

Hello Ar, You do not have to believe me, but believe the Word of God. Everything I have stated I have shown scripture. Yes, I am Pentecostal, Apostle Faith member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. I am what some call a Jesus only. I am very glad to be called Jesus only. Because it is through him that we are saved, Acts 4 12 "Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved ". I have followed Acts 2 38 to the fullest. I am glad to be filled with the Holy Ghost and speak with other tongues as the spirit give utterance. If I had the money to go on television and radio I would say it there also. If I am not mistaken a lot of people are saying that they belong to Jesus Christ.

    A. This Chapter John 14, is full of many promises of Jesus. One is many of other proofs found in other chapters of the N.T., referring to Rapture . Jesus going to prepare a place and come back to take His people there. 2 In my Father 's house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also B. That Jesus is the only way to the Father 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. C. The H.S. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever Father, Son and the H.S. Always working in Harmony together from the beginning of the Creation That 's The Blessed Trinity

Clarification Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost. Luke 19 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Matthew 18 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. This is why he came. He is our example and we follow his word through the Apostle 's doctrine. 2 Timothy 3 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
  • Ar on John 14 - 9 years ago
Evangelist Chatauna Robinson . I have no interest to comment on what you are very wrongly stating in almost all your comments, but I have a question, and if you want you reply. Are you one of those who belong to a group of people called "Jesus only "?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 9 years ago
Hello Charles A, during the time that Jesus was here he came to seek and to save that which was lost and be our example. In regards to verse 16, Jesus is talking about the Holy Ghost. If you read further down to verse 26 you will find that this is the comforter in which Jesus was talking about. So the name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus. When verse 16 states "abide in you " this is what Jesus is talking about that apart of him, which is the Holy Ghost, will abide in you after you have followed what Acts 2 38 says. See there is no three gods. There is only on God. Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Hello Lois and AR, I am submitting this for the third time. I hope it gets printed. This goes with my answer earlier. Part 1 of 2 Let me clarify what I am saying. When I said that there is no trinity, I am saying that there is no three Gods or beings in which we worship. When you are baptized some preachers will say I now baptize you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This is an incorrect baptism. They should only be saying I will now baptize you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason is that Jesus Christ is both Lord and Christ. He is God manifested in the flesh. Jesus Christ does not dwell in the godhead bodily with two other beings. Instead, in Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily . If you read over under Acts Chapter 2 you will find an extensive response that I gave to others about the oneness of God and the importance of the Ephesians 4 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism .

Hello Lois, To further clarify John 1 1 states "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ". Verse 10 "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not ". Who was in the world? Jesus Christ. Verse 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. See Jesus who is the Word was in the world, he made the world, and the Word was God. In Genesis 1 1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth,
