Wesley's Notes for John 7:27

7:27 When Christ cometh, none knoweth whence he is - This Jewish tradition was true, with regard to his Divine nature: in that respect none could declare his generation. But it was not true with regard to his human nature, for both his family and the place of his birth were plainly foretold.

People's Bible Notes for John 7:27

Joh 7:27 Howbeit we know this man whence he is. The Jews had an idea, due probably to Da 7:13, that when the Messiah came no one would know from whence he came.

3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. 13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

V24 proves physical cutting means nothing. Jesus does not cut flesh and does not teach it.
Paul however continues to circumcise to establish the adherence to Jewish law as the example of the Jewish woman that had a son with a Greek man. Paul does not follow the example of behavior that Jesus established. Paul is a Jew first, Christian second. Acts 16:3

"After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him." The hostile and hateful who oppose and contradict Jesus and any and all who love Jesus; would love it to be fighting and quarreling with us all the time, and wasting our time! But we have to know when its time to let men have their own ways, and leave them alone.

Probably, if they were practicing Jews and did it 8 days after birth according to laws.

Thanks for posting Luke 2:21. I repent of saying,"scripture does not tell us if Mary and Joseph circumcised their children. It is important to repent when scripture corrects us when we err. Or God will reprove us and call us a liar. He doesn't take is lightly when we speak untruth. I don't want him to call me a liar, do you want him to call you a liar? A question for all to consider.
