Joh 3:19,20 This is the condemnation. That men refuse the light. Usually it is not evidence, but an honest heart and a sincere desire for truth, that are needed in order to have faith. All kinds of evil doers hate the light.

JOHN 3:6 THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH AND THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT --- GALATIANS 6:8 FOR HE THAT SOWETH TO HIS FLESH SHALL OF THE FLESH REAP CORRUPTION BUT HE THAT SOWETH TO THE SPIRIT SHALL OF THE SPIRIT REAP LIFE EVERLASTING --- JOHN 6:63 IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT QUICKENETH THE FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU THEY ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When we are born on earth, the water breaks and we are born, but when we believe his Word with all our heart, we are born in the Holy Spirit of God. That means born again. Thank you Jesus for that free gift of life that is for ever .

VS 27 does this verse mean that whatever doors open or close it is the doing of GOD.

Ray; regarding the thing with Mr. Diffin; which you came in on after the fact; it is just like you quote here: he was calling into question "the whole Christian interpretation of the Scriptures" as if we were intentionally "twisting them" to make them to mean Jesus. The aprt where you came in was when I tried to show him, but he just wants to quarrel, and NOT BELIEVE. You can't "reason" with that!

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned and avoid them. Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I know if I tell the truth about the Gospel, people might see the Light and believe. Share the Gospel....

"But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." I know that there are some very stern-minded brothers and sisters, who are scared to death to admit that they still miss the mark. But we have to think like God thinks, and be honest first of all; or we'll never truly attain that victory we so strongly preach to others. (Luke 18:9-14)
