People's Bible Notes for John 15:21

Joh 15:21 For my name's sake. That name, so sweet to the saved, is a hateful thing to his enemies. Jewish persecutors bade Christians to teach no more "in the name" (Ac 4:18 5:40); Gentile rulers bade them blaspheme "the name" or die.

I think the fruit of the Spirit and a character in the image of God; love joy peace patience kindness goodness faith meekness self-control; which can only come by being perfect with the Lord our God, and MUCH fiery trial and proving over time; is the fruit!
