This passage of scripture is so powerful. What Jesus was telling the disciples that the devil who is the the prince of darkness and worldly things has no nothing on him because Jesus was pure only truth is in Christ. So the devil could not tempt or let him lose sight of the greater picture fulfilling is purpose on earth which was to die for us so our souls would be saved. We now should learn from Christ and know that the devil can only use and deceive us if we do not walk in truth and follow the ways of Christ walking in truth uprightness love and peace. We are the ones that allow the devil to use us by our actions, when we break the commandments and walk not in the path of righteousness.
  • Emenike Amarachi Blessing for verse 30
