Discussion for John 11:35

  • Pastor André Datondji for verse 35
At first sight, out of a somewhat superficial appreciation, it is hard to accept that Jesus, the Son of God, and himself being God could weep for any situation, no matter how difficult it is. However, this passage of the scriptures shows us that Jesus can really feel what we feel, he once endured hardships and knows pretty well the encounters we can come across each and every day. He experienced all these, but NEVER NEVER lost confidence and faith in the helping hand of his Father. Still nowadays, God 's heart is touched to tears when he watches us weeken down, loosing faith. God knows us far more than we do and he is completely able to give us victory in all those things in our daily walk, PROVIDED WE DON 'T LOOSE FAITH IN HIM.
  • Shavvokka for verse 35
He wept because he love us
  • ALEX YOLAM for verse 35
I believe that Jesus wept because of his disciples they couldn 't put much trust in him and they did not knew him well by the time Jesus asked them on how the do consider him
  • Bro ronald sam for verse 35
jesus wept because he thought what more do I have to do to show you that I am
  • Christ needs us to believe. It 's just that simple. When we believe, even though we do not understand, we accept that He is Sovereign over every part of our being body, heart, mind or as I like to call it strength, spirit soul . He keeps His promises and we know this and so we do not require proof in this lifetime or the next. This is the key to the door of having righteousness counted toward you. It is also why Abraham did not need to see nor did he wait until all was received. He simply believed and kept it moving. Because Abraham was so willing in his strength, spirit and soul to accept and believe we all share in his blessing. Jesus wept because he just needs us to believe.
  • Kumah g. konadu for verse 35
Jesus wept because the community did not believe in him, yet Martha and Mary said had He were to be there their brother would not have died.
