People's Bible Notes for John 10:9

Joh 10:9 By me if any man enter in, he shall be saved. Christ is at once the door, the shepherd and the pasture. His pasture is the bread of life (Joh 6:35,48) and the water of life (Joh 4:14).

Discussion for John 10:9

  • MockingBird for verse 9
Jesus Christ is the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved. God made no other provision !!1 When I receive salvation in Jesus then I can go in and out and find pasture. I must be in His word and be doing His word. As I feed on His word I will be finding pasture.
  • Ezekiel kanyithia for verse 9
With Jesus everything is possible and in Him one gets all the happiness and peace of mind and heart.
  • Gabriel odum for verse 9
I believe that going and out represents activity, ie, the effort the believer has to make in order to know the truth that is able to save his soul. Eg, personal study of the word, going tn a true church, praying for the help of tge holy spirit etc. Truth is not found on the sufface of the ground but must be fetched from the deppest well.
  • I believe that ( Go in and out of pasture) refers to having faith in a dimension spiritually, having paid the price as we go from faith to faith, glory to glory, to put on immortality. The Word says " Death where's your sting, graveyard where's your victory. The dead in Christ shall rise first, and those who are here after on earth will caught up with Jesus Christ and will be as he is, which is now His glorfied body. You can get to a place in the Spirit, and be able to go in and out of pasture, meaning translation as an overcomer.
