Joh 1:36 Behold the Lamb of God! On the preceding day John had recognized Jesus in a public discourse as "the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world" (Joh 1:29). Now he personally points the disciples to him.

Someone commented that because those scriptures said the word WAS God that the word was separate from God; The Word 'WAS' was used only because that chapter was written about PAST events, it is therefore Past Tense. It has nothing to do with the Word being Separated from God.

    Insight777 before Christ they sacrificed lambs for their sins in moses time, Christ soul purpose was to come and die on the cross for our sins, they no longer needed a lamb he was the lamb, he was the only born of flesh unlike us from dust, he is the spirit, the dove of peace, he is the light, not of dark and those that follow him and believe in him, shall live in light forever thank you Jesus
