Job 30:19, no, I believe it's referring to Job 2:7,8,

    Amos 2:1, 2Kings 23:16,20, 2Chronicles 34:1-6 as prophecied in 1Kings 13:12, & Ezekiel 24:9-14,

The other references comparable are 1Samuel 31:12,13, 2Samuel 21:12,13,14, they weren't completely consumed as described in Amos 2:1,

    Hopefully this is helpful

Dear Mary , as a Christian , the only division I make between people is if they are Christians or not . That's it for me , it makes no difference what colour or culture . Christians are God's people , Christians truly are ' one nation under God ' and we are also spiritual Israel . Much love to you in Christ .

    Hi Mary.

Is there any scripture in the Bible supporting these beliefs?

I don't no where in scripture where there is emphasis on color. The pride of man is the root of racism and division.

Aa for slavery, Yes it is wrong and I have seen some make excuses for it. But as for it along with murder abortion and every other abominable sin the world do will be considered when God judge the quick and the dead.

"IF" Christ is in us we see sin the way he do but the world will continue to do it, approve it, and excuse it.

There's Jews, Gentiles, and the Church in Gods view. And all have to come to come to him by Jesus.

    God bless

I think the black people who were slaves were Hebrews And israelites amd Ez. said after 400 years God was going to turn things around for black people. June 6 2021 the frist slave got off the ship in Vir. I think Job was a black man.

If, from your request, you are seeking a verse to show the utter destruction of mankind, then we only see God's Hand that does it. Whether in particular judgements (as in the history of Israel, where God judged both Israel & the nations that opposed her) or in the outpouring of God's Wrath, as in the Great Tribulation & final judgement, reconciling all unbelievers into the Lake of Fire, is when we see such annihilation. I don't believe that there will be a worldwide extermination of mankind through of the efforts of man, as opposed to man's instigation of wars & skirmishes which results in many deaths.

In the helps section of this website; under "other translations", it says the organ is a pipe, or a flute.

There's a search box; a commentary box, and other translations. Helpful to look up things quick.

Its funny how reading peoples comments; i hear condescending, and judgement. No one is perfect. Job was a faith man, God bet on him. I wish i was a fraction of a man he was, we all can keep striving to be faithful servants that God instructs us to be. by helping each other.

Job is depressed because of his condition and is trying to understand by this affliction has come upon him, when in his heart, he believes that he has walked uprightly before God and lived a lived a godly life.

They kicked Job and spit on him!! I 'm sure the young people were punished by God for this!!

My thoughts Job was sick unto death, but as he lay with sickness he found strength in knowing God will be done.
  • Dlund on Job 30 - 9 years ago
O, how shallow can one 's understanding be when colored by preconceived notions. Job 's reference to "black skin " is metaphorical language used to describe his physical suffering. Nothing more...
