Verse 7: "And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when ye entered, ye defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination." Think about this in the context of how we defile the land with mountaintop removal coal mining, ocean drilling spills, pollution of our water with fracking fluids, contaminating the air and water with coal refuse, AND the ultimate offence ruining the Earth’s climate by dumping greenhouse gases and warming the Earth.

We should always remember where God has got us from, for if we can know the things he has done, we will always acknowledge that he is the creator and seek his kingdom not the other pleasures. GOD, HAVE MERCY UPON US.

Wow, its amazing how people can take whatever they wish from these passages. Or take one phrase or part of a phrase and make it a whole life's obsession.

If one claims to be a Christian, does that mean you take the teachings of Jesus over the old testament? Or can you pick and choose parts of the bible to affirm your point of view while discarding the rest.

If Jesus walked among us today, would he be on Wall Street or with Occupy Wall Street?

God said unto the Isrealites, a nation has not changed its gods which is yet no god but the of Isreal have changed their glory which is not lucrative to them. I have discovered something from the life cycle of Isreal. 1st. They backslided after God has saved them from them the hands of the Egyptians. They made a golden calf and worshiped it. 2nd, is oppression. God handled them in hands of the plunders. The plunderes attacked the Isrealites and took all their properties. 3rd, God's deliverance to the people of Isreal.

Just like today, only difference is the gods of our generation are technolygie, people, and material things that draw men attention far from GOD.GOD is saying comeback my children, life without putting GOD first is all vanity.thank GOD for the truth amen.

Two evils was commited from God's people! 1st they forsaken Christ as the fountain of the living Water; 2nd they hewed them out broken Cisterns that could not hold no water! Their own wickedness shall correct them, and their backsliding will reprove them. God told his people not to change their GLORY that which did not profit them;by serving other gods. But they refused and did not take heed to the Prophet and was destroyed by God's anger. in the Book of Revl it talks about the wrath og God! It is not wise to fall into the HANDS of THE TRUE AND LIVIG God. Thank YOu Lord for Your Mercy and Grace with out it we are LOST. Amen

God desires and values our relationship with Him but men keep on shifting their focus from God. Help us God to run back to you!!
