I couldn't find the one that says our death is recorded.

    Jeremiah 1:5

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

    Jeremiah 20:17

Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave,

    Hosea 12:3

For there are some eunuchs, which I were so born from their mother's womb (birth defects) and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men (forced celibacy) and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs (celibate)for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

    Psalms 139:16

Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.

    Genesis 27:2

And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:

    Psalms 48:14

For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death
  • Chris - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 3 years ago
God does indeed know all about us, even from before we were conceived to the exact time we will die. Even an untimely death will not take Him by surprise, for all things are known by Him.

    See: Isaiah 46:9,10; Jeremiah 1:4,5; Psalm 139:13-16.

Yet, many live in fear of when their end may come. For the one who has put his/her trust in the Lord Jesus, death brings no fear - has no sting. It's simply a transition from this life to the one God has prepared for those who love Him. Many over the years welcomed death at the hands of their tormentors: the wicked one might have vented his anger against the Christian, but the Christian looked beyond to the welcoming Arms of the One Who first laid down His Life for him.

Does the Lord know when our time to die will be from the time of our conception?
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 3 years ago
I see nothing wrong with celebating Jesus birth. Of course the date may be wrong but thats the day we use.

  • Part 2 LORD OF THE HARVEST on Jeremiah 10 - 3 years ago
    Joel 3:13

Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

    Mark 4:29

But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

    Revelation 14:14

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the SON OF MAN, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

    Revelation 14:15

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

    Revelation 14:16

And he that sat on THE CLOUD, thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

    Revelation 14:17

And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

    Revelation 14:18

And another angel came out from the altar, which had POWER OVER FIRE, and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

    Revelation 14:19

And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the WRATH OF GOD.

Time is of the essence. Don't waste anymore of it.

  • Nigerian Christians Being Killed for their faith on Jeremiah 10:11 - 3 years ago
That's how quickly the death toll has escalated for Christians in Nigeria.

Earlier this year, roughly 350 Nigerian Christians were killed at the hands of Islamic radicals. By June, the total was over 1,200 murdered for their faith.

At this rate, some 2,400 innocent Christians - including children - will be slaughtered by year's end. And it could be much, much higher at this precipitous rate. This is no longer just a human rights crisis. It could become an extinction-level event.

And that doesn't even address the number of Nigerian Christians abducted and enslaved every year. The world should be outraged.

The ACLJ has gone directly to the U.N., urging international intervention and aid for Nigeria's Christians.

And we continue to fight for Leah Sharibu, the Christian teen who remains a prisoner of Boko Haram - the brutal Islamic militia in Nigeria - because she won't convert to Islam.

Violence against Christians is spreading beyond Nigeria's borders. It will soon spread out of control.

We're fighting to SAVE CHRISTIANS and defend their right to worship freely without fear of violent persecution and death.

Sign their petition if you agree, and put the believers on your prayer list. Thank you.

The Holy bible Kjv fulfills a whole lot of prophecies. The book of Isisah chapter 9 talks about The Lord Jesus Christ being born of a virgin, this was fulfilled in scripture later on in the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Mainly the Kjv bible tells prophies of The Lord Jesus Christ from being to end. And the quran doesn't even fulfill any prophecy neither will it help you be saved and get to heaven when you die. The Kjv bible says this in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 "1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" That's the difference Jesus Christ rose from the dead to never ever dying again and also paying for your sin's. Do you believe this? if you do then you shall be saved.

What is the diferent between the holy bible & holy quran?
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 4 years ago
Read Jeremiah chapter 10 as it was the Jews first celebrating so called Christmas long before Rome existed. Rome adopted this from the Jews who had rejected the scriptures sadly. That was why the Lord allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed in the Babylonian captivity.
This below covers the SUNrise services of easter I believe
Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the SUN sun toward the east.
  • Rick Colombe on Jeremiah 10 - 4 years ago
Lies,lies,lies.... We have all been taught lies in relation to Christmas and Easter. No where in God's Word does it say to celebrate Christmas and Easter. Both come from pagan rituals which were adopted by the Church of Rome dating as far back as 325AD. We call ourselves Christians, yet we want to follow Him our own way. It's time we follow God according to His Word. I challenge anyone to show me in His Holy Word that we are to celebrate Christmas and/or Easter. Do your homework and you'll find TRUTH!!! Again, let us all ask God for eyes that see and ears that hear.9
  • Daniel L Kesner - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 4 years ago
Christmas and Easter are both pagan in origin. God does not tell us to celebrate these events.

To Love God is to turn to Him each morning and Thank Him for another day not yet promised. To ask for forgiveness of any sin you had committed against Him. To set out the door knowing He is close by. To always be aware of Him talking to you-- showing you-- testing you- about your Love for Him. How you handle any situation He puts you in. Or how you handle the enemy when he closes in on you. PRAY!!
  • Patty Tozi - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 4 years ago
To Love your Father completely in Heaven is to glorify His word daily to others in need. I Love my Father. He guides me every day to others in need. Oh what a wonder He is--as He helps us in His Strength when we are down and out. He guides me to open my eyes and see the truth of this evil world of self. No kindness is found much. When l see some l know He is showing His Love to Me! PRAISE HIM!!!

I was Thankful Ruben to hear before that you believe in the Trinity sadly those who reject Jesus' Divinity are worshiping a god of their own understanding and it shows they don't have The Holy Spirit yet. I never said that you belonged to a Cult but that what you shared was what they believe too about Christmas and Easter but they are confirmed in Scripture as we Christians remember them - Anne.
  • Ruben Hartness - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 4 years ago
not sure of what you are saying--I told you or someone in this discussion trinity was not in the Bible--I did say it was the Godhead comprised of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Trinity is the three of one in the same with three different offices. Don't understand where that is considered cult. Please clarify to me and all that will read your post.
