Discussion for Jeremiah 17:13

  • This verse tells us that what Jesus was writing in the earth when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Him was the names of the pharisees who were condemning her, because it was they who were actually in the act of forsaking Him at that very moment. Jesus wrote their names in the earth...and they were aware of this verse, and they knew what He was illustrating for them.....because they knew who He was...i.e., see John chapter 3 and Jesus ' conversation with Nicodemus.
