Discussion for Jeremiah 15

(see also Ezekiel 23:18) "Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth." Was this the Prophet's mind, or God's? and if it is a grief and horror to us, how much more to the Lord when He is forced to say these things about a people He has worked so hard and suffered so long to save!

It is sad we who call ourselves by the name of the Lord, are so easily swayed from following the truth wanting to be like those around us. I 'm more than sure YWHY does not appreciate our continual foolish acts and deeds, following after things that lead to our destruction frank.
  • This scripture is my favorite. The word of god is what sustains us and changes us. Jesus said that he is the word. This can be found in 1st john. If we spend our days and nights eating the word of god then will we have strength. We will be able to walk in the spirit of god as the lord commands us instead of walking in the flesh. When we dont eat natural food we are weak. The same applies in the spiritual realm. We will have no power to walk in the light as he is in the light. Also, the scripture states thy word was found and I did eat them. This reminds me of the scripture, knock and it shall be opened seek and ye shall find, ask and it shall be given unto you. This reminds me that I must seek out the word. That is why he said and thy word was found. We must seek it out.look for gods word and where he wants us.

This chapter is about the people of God turning away from the word of God, which is the right way to go. They worshiped and praised other gods, when they knew who the true God was. I think this is what is happening now. Many people have such a strong hate for others, and are lovers of their own thoughts, are turning away from the true and only God, which affect our nation.

It's a chapter whereby God calls upon His children, seeking to save them. He still provide with His mercy if you as a sinner return to Him. He promises to protect you among your enemies, to put you above the nations only if you return and convert.
