I agree with Chris, I've not heard of the "third eye" anywhere in the bible, please educate me. I would very much like to read it myself. Where is it stated? What scripture?
  • Chris - In Reply on James 1 - 3 years ago
"Its in the bible. I would like to no about the third eye that is spoke of in the bible".

I've searched everywhere, but can't find anything about it. Do you know where it is in the Bible?

why dont yall talk about the third eye to whitch it just might show you how to take care of things thats comming your way. Its in the bible. I would like to no about the third eye that is spoke of in the bible. Every preacher , pastor, teacher, apostals, minister, profett, chaplin. they should walk in the middle of all of this kause and stand boldly up against it and start praying and run it out. Is there any Godly Bold men of god with faith and belefe in God and that has all of these and not affraid. This is where your Faith comes in at, yall go in midest of it and start praying and call the Angels in. And send it back to hell where it came from. Every church in our country in the united states and getting in the middle of this and fight for our country. this isYALL'S MISSION here. Now get out there and fight for God's childeren. Just because you think that your safe and get this virus and yes you protected, you have the shild, of protection, yes you the blood of christ around you and the armour of god. but about the rest of gods childeren. and those that don't it. Where is your FAITH now. Is it still stuck in a church going out to eat or behind ya'lls walls where ya'll are safe. Instead of herelng about someone getting killed for stupidity or young childeren dying. They are lnasent. In JESUS NAME fight for them.

Hey, brother...interesting response, but I want to encourage you to continue To hide this word, or as James just called it, get "grafted" in to more of Jesus. If you desire to see others healed, KNOW of a certainty that 1. It is always God's will to heal. We are not disciplined by God using disease or sickness. This is a aflame doctrine and it undermines our faith both in healing, but more importantly, in the nature of God. God is the same yesterday, today and forever and, as James says, there is NO variable in that...not even a shadow of turning. Paul's thorn was not disease. Otherwise, as the Pharisees were told, "satan cannot cast our satan". And, "a kingdoms divided against itself cannot stand."

    2. We are not waiting in God to GIVE US anything special to heal or to be healed. He has accomplished it in full. You have "this same

Power", that raised Jesus from the dead, in you. That's why Peter says to the lame man, "such as I have, give I thee!" Now it's Gods power, but we have been given that power and His authority. But, faith is like a muscle...it grows stronger as we use it. Andrew Womack has a great series called "You've Already Git It", that I would recommend highly. Stay strong, brother and do not believe the false

Doctrines if men, but trust the God wants you (and everyone else) whole and prospering (even as their soul prospers). Keep at it and you will raise the sea, heal the sick and

    Cast out devils. Peace!

History is only a record of mankind. Look at the Bible: it is a record of man; with careful genealogy.

God is alpha (beginning), and Omega (ending). He sees us all.

The only LIVES THAT MATTER are

the ones that are written down in the Lambs Book of Life!

After all the statues and monuments are gone, what's next? Libraries? History books? God shook the Tulsa riots right after the President left the area, with a sizable Earthquake. I think it's a warning. Find in the Bible where it says that this behavior is righteous according to Gods Word.

I googled Tulsa earthquake history and there isn't any. Not one that big.

I'm ashamed of what we do and how we justify it. Are there ANY Christians out there? Any Ministers of the Churches?

This is exactly like it is going to be immediately following the Rapture (Caught Up) of the Church of Jesus's BORN AGAIN believers. Riots, violence, looting, fire, unrestrained destruction: the world of hell unleashed.

A lot of brave men and women fought and died FOR THIS COUNTRY, for one reason or another. We trample on their graves.

This makes me feel physically ill to know that this rioting will be to the 10th Power after the rapture. Take a look around now, and try to remember times past. It's all gone. It will never come back. Never.

Jesus is returning soon. I call an earthquake in an arena parking lot too much to ignore. Even if fake national news always chooses to not report these things. Go ahead and google the earthquake. BEHOLD your future.

The rioting crowds CRUCIFIED Jesus Christ.

The crowd became a demon. Satan thought he won finally! Three days later, Jesus walked out of his tomb.

    Whose side are you on?

    Barabbas or Jesus?

    Who are you screaming for?

    I scream for Jesus!!!

    why no healing?

I have asked for the gift of healing as I would love to empty a children's hospital and so far nothing.

well sometimes the answer is no for various reasons

In Matthew 17:21 someone had a devil and the apostles would not cast it out.

Jesus said in Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

sometimes prayer and fasting is needed

Paul was given a thorn in the flesh and asked for healing and was told no

2 Corinthians 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

sometimes it is for our benefit as hard as that is to believe

Jesus did not do healing and miracles because of the people's unbelief

Matthew 13:58 And he (Jesus) did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

sometimes we get a no cause the people who want healed have no real faith

other times people get sick cause of sin, like with adultery they get aids or venereal diseases

one can be forgiven, but still must live with the sins consequences

sickness from eating the wrong foods i.e. Bible health laws is not a salvation matter, it is a health matter.

In China they often eat bats, rats and anything that moves it seems.

and sometimes the answer is just plain no for reasons we do not understand...yet.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
  • Bob G on James 1 - 3 years ago
The Book of James really is edifying, it does not raise more questions, but is very clear to those that have understanding. James one of the 3 Closest to Jesus when he was here on earth had unique teaching from Christ himself . And a pillar of the church in deed !

A must read for the disciples of Christ today , or contemplating to be one .

There is much wisdom in this chapter concerning the character of the believer. It expresses the role the believer plays in the model of society and explains the reason to continue in the purpose discovered in each man. It is important to read the word of God to understand what is expected of us. Represent Jesus as best as we can. Include the Lord in all we do.
  • Chris - In Reply on James 1:5 - 3 years ago
The book of James, as with Hebrews, is generally understood to have been written to Jewish Christians (as we refer to them now as, Messianic Jews). They are very much a part of Christ's Church but their backgrounds & understanding of Scripture required these letters to be written with them in mind.

James 1:5, therefore speaks to believers (specifically to the twelve tribes of Israel scattered abroad) & not to unbelievers, simply because unbelievers wouldn't think of asking God for wisdom or anything else. Sometimes, in their desperation they may call out to God, but these truths don't speak about those people.

Our present day application would be that, not only for wisdom, but for anything that we ask of our Father, He will give according to His Will but we have to believe that He can & will ( 1 Jn 5:14,15). Many folk ask amiss (Js 1:6-8, 4:3) & don't receive. If we are close to God, in our love & obedience to Him, then His Spirit intercedes on our behalf (helps us) with what we should ask ( Rom 8:26,27). So if we are listening closely to Him, then it changes completely what things we ask for. Many people are disappointed when they ask & don't receive. It is not that God is not listening, it is because we're asking to satisfy our desires & not of His Will.
  • Melle on James 1:5 - 3 years ago
The Bible says If any one lacks wisdom...... Who is the any one? Does it only refers to christains? How was James speaking to? How can we apply this today?
  • Bob on James 1 - 3 years ago
I find it interesting that James letter is written to the twelve tribes of Israel . Not all Israel is Israel , but the Israel of God is in Christ .

The 12 apostles will rule over the twelve tribes in the kingdom as well . In Christ there is neither Jew or Gentile . Interesting !

comment by ALEX ON MAT 13 That Day of rest now under the new covenant is a 1000 yr day not a 24 hr day. When Jesus will reign on the earth ( his 1000 yr reign on this earth ) Thats the day of Rest that Paul is speaking of when his kingdom is gonna be with in us via that good seed the Word the seed of the kingdom Jesus mentions in mat 13.Remember he said the field was the world where that good seed wd be sown in our hearts etc. Thus we will birth our king th Son of MAN in our hearts via that heavenly seed as we have borne the image of th earthy we must also bear th image of the Heavenly via the good seed th WORD. Thats y the good seed is the pearl of great price its the very seed of God ( th H.G.) and the H.G IS THE KINGDOM.A baby Christ is gonna be formed in us, Unless ya receive the kingdom as a lil child etc impling a heavenly birth with N us.When isaiah saw the kingdom coming he said unto us a child is born unto us a son is given which is our new innerman th H.G. ( OUR NEW HEART AND NEW SPIRIT ) Whosoever receives one such CHILD in my NAME receives me.In my NAME implies he is the father of the Child SIMPLY B/C THE CHILD IS FORMED IN US VIA HIS SEED HIS BREATH, HE BREATH ON THEM AND THEY RECEIVED THE H.G. My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you/us. These things are hid from the wise and prudent ( PREACHERS ) but revealed unto babes, the babes are spirits as that which is born of the spirit is SPIRIT WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU ( th H.G. ) THE KINGDOM.

In the early morning l sit in my car watching all God's creations come alive. The sun rises brightly as the Light of God once again ascends to start my day. I Love my God and He knows it. Many- Many times He helped me. Gave me Blessings when l prayed. Many Many hard knocks l faced alone with Him. Always writing from my heart what l saw and suffered for. I would go far from others to be alone with my God. Wait and seek the Strength once more by the sightings of His creations, and knowing He was close. Heaven is real. I was there thru a bad situation. My songs helped the less fortunate know Him to the point the Evilness of others would knock me down everytime. But our Lord would watch me climb back up. Start over l did many times. Always helping others. Even doing without. Many times He would send messengers to me when l did not know where to turn. They would explain what l saw was real. I was not going out of my mind. Then never to be seen again. Like a puzzle l became aware of everything to the point l stand as a rock for others and myself. All l knew my whole life was work and being alone. Helped natives alot so that at one point of my life l ended up knowing 2 medicine men from the old ways in South Dakota. Never got there to meet them. Even was invited. Received something from 2 areas of the states that no white person should of got. All miracles. Sent me many protections one said l would need when l fully developed my gift l was given from the mighty one. Said one, that he had a vision what l would be able to do. For a season got involved with their spiritualness. Then working l would always go. Job after job. Alone. Watching. Now the world is nearing the end. I wrote in 1998 and 1999 same months things started happening now what was to be. God gave me many insights why l suffered and how to handle it. Always with Him. He will not only take care of me- but people that l help. So far am just coasting in His valley as He leads me. So beware now. Stay close to God:

  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on James 1 - 3 years ago
Jennifer God does show favoritism in some instances. God chose Jacob Israel and rejected his brother Esau

Hebrews Chapter 12:16 Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

Abraham had a son named Ishmael and the Lord rejected him as the seed of promise

Genesis Chapter 21: 10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, [even] with Isaac.

11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. (Ishmael)

12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

I'm not sure that Jesus changed their names at all. Certainly not because they became apostles, otherwise He would have changed the names of the other apostles too.

Paul was born with the name Saul. He was from Tarsus. We see in the book of Acts that his name goes from being called Saul, to all of a sudden he is now called Paul for the remainder of Acts, and throughout the 13 epistles he wrote.

His Hebrew or Jewish name was Saul, and his Roman or Greek name was Paul, or Paulos. They are both the same name, one being Jewish, and one being Greek. Peter was called Simon Peter. Simon, or Simeon was his Hebrew name. He was also called Cephus, and Petros by Jesus, both meaning stone, Cephus being Aramaic, and Petros being Greek.
  • Shari Martin on James 1 - 3 years ago
Why did Jesus change the names of some (Paul and Peter) because they became apostles?
  • Chris - In Reply on James 1 - 3 years ago
Randall, I have always accepted Sunday as the day of worship in line with apostolic & early Church practice. This was not originally a papal edict when he gave this instruction to the RC church, but an apostolic & Church practice that distanced itself from Jewish & other practices. We know that the Lord Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, which was a Sunday ( Mk 16:2,9), the apostles recognized that day also ( Acts 20:7, Jn 20:19), and the early Christians also met on that day ( 1 Cor 16:2: alluding to the Corinthian believers putting aside money so that the poor believers in Jerusalem could receive these gifts, in due course). However, as Rich indicated ( Rom 14:5) that this Day cannot become a dividing issue, or else for example, believers in Islamic countries who can only meet on a Friday, then become reprobate & deserving of damnation! Then again, if we met on the 7th day, are we also prepared to not work, get take away, have folk over for lunch, or fill up with gas! Difficult!
  • Rich - In Reply on James 1 - 3 years ago
Please read Romans chapter 14 vs 5, it doesn't matter what day just keep a day holy to the Lord and do not forsake assembling with others, you really can't do that now but we watch times square church with Pastor Carter Colon and temple baptist with Pastor Charles Lawson and Pastor Tony Evans, all you can watch on YouTube or livestream, Take care brother
