Because of the vicious cycle of disobedience and turning from God we find ourselves repeating the same test over and over again but when sin and Satan is done away with we no loner will have these issues. A son is born that will not only redeem us but will also set up a perfect government and we will be at peace forever! Hallelujah always and eternality.

Vs 21 -- Ephraim and Manasseh are both of Israel and both will work against Judah....Which explains when Christ said a man's enemies will be those of his own household. Judah is encamped on all sides, by enemies AND so called family and friends (who made themselves also to be enemies)...The remnant of GOD, surely identify in the sufferings of Christ because He suffered the same thing (betrayal)

Thank you Holy Spirit for leading me to Isaiah 9; I want to know you so much more, my Lord and God. I am a mere human, that your thoughts towards me i cannot even begin to fathom. You alone are God most High, the one true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Continue to open the eyes of my heart, I want to see you more and more.

Verse9: The scripture talks of a ruler from the roots of David who will rule for ever. In his kingdom there will be peace, righteousness and justice for ever and ever. The present day Jews teach that messiah the king will be ruling physically upon the throne of David. If physical then how can it be eternal. Only Jesus is qualified for fulfilment of this prophecy,He lives for evermore to govern.

"The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones..For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. For the people turns not unto him that smites them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts." How many times have we seen someone facing the grave proclaiming, Never surrender! They pride themselves in stubbornness and will die unprepared to meet the LORD.
  • Redeemed
9:6 is the best verse to describe the singular name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost in Matthew 28:19 which leads us to Acts 2:38,Acts 8:12, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 19:1-5. Jesus is the Father of creation the Son of Redemption and the Holy Ghost of regeneration the one Lord of Deut 6:4 that Saul thought he was doing service to but said who art thou Lord, I am Jesus, Saul knew as a Jew there was only1

God has anointed us to be the child of the Living God and we musnt forgot his love and mercy. We are saved by the Grace of God. God is promising and forgiving God. He loves us so much that we cant imagine that he shed his precious blood on the cross to take all of our sins, curses, pain, worries, deceases. We are now pardoned and forgiving by God because of his mercy and love that endureth forever. Thanks to Jesus for redeeming us on the cross to save us from the hand of the defeated devil. He made everything new we must now praised Jesus and thank him for everything that he has done to our lives. Jesus is the Rock of our Salvation. We must obey his words and love him with all our hearts and mind and soul. Amen

Amen I can say I home I tex this right I cant read it all till I submit it but amen!
  • Lisa Brown for verse 10
This verse absolutely holds a warning to not just ancient Irael, but present-day America! We were established on God and have rejected him. His hedge of protection has been removed from our borders and we are ignoring His warnings. Our responses continue to be defiance and arrogance. We talk of what WE will do for ourselves, without including Him. Things are going to get very bad here and I 'm afraid it still won 't be enough for us to wake up and bring God back into our nation, our families, our schools, our daily lives, our hearts...
  • Jimmy Mwandelile for verse 6
Jesus is God Father. John 14:7,8,9,10. Jesus was born like a son, Matthew 1:16.
  • Annjohnson
Praise the Lord all you that believe in One God and Jesus is his Name. How encouraging to read of so many that have seen the revelation of the mystery of Godliness. Stay faithful and the Lord will give you a crown of life!!! Glory and honor to the wonderful name of JESUS.
  • To say that The Lord Jesus Christ is not Jehovah, not The Almighty God due to the title 'The mighty God ' Heb. El Gibor used in Is.ix.6 clearly exhibits a biased and unskilled workman. -iiTim.ii.15 One may refer to Hab.i.12 to see illustrated without any doubt that God the Father who is refered only as Jehovah according to the Arians is also titled 'O mighty God ' El Gibor, and 'not ' Almighty God Heb. El Shaddai ! Does this then mean that The Father is 'not ' The Almighty, not Jehovah? Not at all! Neither does this effect the fact that the The Lord Jesus is also The Almighty, as well as The Holy Ghost! These are all wonderful, inspired, and exhilarating titles of THE TRIUNE GODHEAD! Praise be to THE ETERNAL, The LORD God: 'Father, Word, and Holy Ghost '! -Mat.iii.19 xviii.19 iJn.v.7 as examples . Use a concordance and or centre side references or footnotes for other references and be delighted with unspeakable joy! In many passages in the holy scriptures, all 'three ' members of 'triune ' Godhead are clearly illustrated, sometimes only 'two ', or either any 'one ' of the 'three ' persons of our Eternal Jehovah God alone! -JPRA
  • Inventor for verse 6
To say that The Lord Jesus Christ is not Jehovah due to the title 'The mighty God ' Heb. El Gibor used in Is.ix.9 clearly exhibits a biased and unskilled workman. One may refer to Hab.i.12 to see illustrated without any doubt that God the Father who is refered only as Jehovah according to the Arians is also titled 'O mighty God ' El Gibor, and 'not ' Almighty God El Shaddai In many passages in the holy scriptures, all members of 'triune ' Godhead are clearly illustrated, sometimes 'two ', or either any one of the three persons of our Eternal Jehovah God!
  • Jimmy for verse 6
Jesus is God, book of Hebrews said yesterday, today and forever, Jesus is the same. 1Timoty3:16 apostle Paul said, God was manifest in flesh .
  • The Mighty God, Jesus Christ is God, manifest in the flesh. The "The " demonstrates that Jesus is not a lesser god, but The Mighty God. Psalm 50 verse 1 also backs up that the LORD is The Mighty God, hence Jehovah is God and Christ is God they are both the same God, Jesus is Jehovah. Some translations drop the "the " in Isaiah 9 v 6 and thus cause an opening for cults and heresy to find an opportunity to change Christ to a lesser "god ".
