The diviners must surely be mad because, their predictions did not hit the target. Their plans did not not work out as planned, they now become the victim rather than being the jubilant.

I thank GOD FOR isiah it is the prophet telling us of JESUS. that JESUS . VERSE 22 says GOD HAS BLOTTED OUT our trangressions. He doesn 't want us to worship idols.
  • MockingBird on Isaiah 44:22 - 9 years ago
I Praise God that my transgressions have been blotted out as a thick cloud and as a cloud my sins. I have returned unto my Lord for I know that I am redeemed. I have been bought back by the Blood of Jesus that He shed for me. I belong to Him now. I have no rights within myself but I have all rights through Jesus Christ. I Praise God that I have been brought out of darkness into His marvelous light.
  • Moses on Isaiah 44:26 - 9 years ago
Isaiah 44 26...he fulfil the word of his servant and performe their councel.....God gave priority to his servants to say things by his name and according to his words then he God will let it be,as well when the true men of God gave councel,God will perform it in the life of whosoever carries it out.The bible say in 2 Samuel 16 23,and the councel of Aithophel is as if God speaks and one has asked from God.....so God has respect for the words that comes out of his true ministers.....Aithopel in that case can be called a servant of God to David, not until he mess up the opportunity and David pray agains him when he joined the rebels, then his concel became foolishness according to David words.
  • Rev. Autrey on Isaiah 44 - 9 years ago
In Isiah 44. verse 22, God says, 'I have blotted out your sins. They are gone like the morning mist at noon! Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free. ... ' Didn 't Jesus blot out our sins, and pay the price to set us free? This means that Jesus is the Old Testsament God who said these things. The trouble is, we just do not want to admit this. We perfer to believe that there are two Gods, a big one and a little one. But this is not true. God is one God. And just because he calls himself the Father or the Son does not change this fact. Let 's put it this way. When God decided to come into the world he called himself the Father. But when he came he called himself the Son. But God is always this way because he is alwsys making decisions, and always doing things. But the fact remains that when God walked on earth he did it as Jesus the Son. That is why the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are all about what God as Jesus did and said. If you have trouble believing this ask God to help you!
  • Kenrick Francis on Isaiah 44 - 9 years ago
We are God 's human creation made in his image and likeness. However we , like dry bones in Ezekiel 's valley of the dry bones, need the breath of God, the Holy Spirit of God, the Water of the Holy Spirit to nurture us and to give us that spiritual growth. Nothing else can do this for God 's creation.
  • MockingBird on Isaiah 44:3 - 10 years ago
What the world has to offer to quench our thirst for our my flesh will never satisfy but will only make you me more thirsty because it do not fulfill the want or the desire !!! What the has to offer in His word will quench the firey darts of the wicked and fulfill us me. I desire to have the water of life poured out unto me I have to deny myself worldy pleasures for sin has pleasure foe a season not lasting .Praise God foe the water of Life !!!!
  • Toni on Isaiah 44:3 - 10 years ago
For those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, they will be filled. Those who call on the name of the Lord Jesus, who is life, will be baptized with the gift of the Holy Ghost that living water that springs up and is a river of flowing waters. This is the refreshening for our souls. People are dry and destitute of the truth. But when we seek Jesus, God pours out of Himself and fills us with abundant life that comes with His Son Jesus. Outside of Christ, is a dry, dehydrated and dead soul. But in Him, our spirit flourishes and we grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We will be green with the fruits of the spirit, and will have joy, peace, faith, love, kindness, meekness, temperance and patience. We will be the righteous child of God. Hearts need to turn to God and call on the name of His dear Son Jesus, so the showers of blessing will rain down and saturate the land with living water.

Isaiah 44 once again tells us there is only 'ONE' GOD WHOM IS GOOD AND GOOD " ONLY "!!! and there is no other "WAY" to heaven, but thru HIM WHOM is GOD...The Living Word of GOD shall never perish and if planted in ones heart, hand, eye, and upon tongue for GOODness sake and goodness sake "ONLY><> if thy right hand is filled with anything that is not of GOD and HIS Goodness; for 'HOLY' be THY name!!! Then it is better we cut it off than go down in the fire thereof and eat of the ashes we are self have produced.... It is better we cut it off while it is still called Today ??!! Fore we know there is only 'ONE' redeemer of our soul, Him Whom is GOD and GOOD !!! AS it Says plainly in verses9 & ><> 17 thru 23.......... Let us not be left a shamed but instead be redeem like HE told us HE would do so in HIS LIVING WORD.... Let US do so while it is still called ' TODAY '...!
  • Franco on Isaiah 44:20 - 10 years ago
He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? ( Isaiah 44:20 KJV) the. Same wood used for fuel or to cook with is turned into an idol. What an abomination , instead of feeding on the bread of heaven we feed on near ashes, worshiping creation; the work of our hands rather than the Creator: "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened". Romans 1:21. Let's turn our eyes on Jesus and follow His example when He was tempted: And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Matthew 4:9, 10

  • Bane on Isaiah 44 - 12 years ago
"Interpretation of prophesy is necessarily mystical and miraculous by its very nature. The boundaries of time and eternity were broken in the moment when the Almighty told us the future before it was lived.. As an example in Isaiah one of these startling moments is the naming of Cyrus as the one who would rebuild the temple. The precognitive details are given not only before Cyrus lived but before the nation was taken captive and the temple destroyed by the Babylonians. Thus, peering into prophecy is like peering into the transcendental moment. When success is the companion of the one seeking for truth to be revealed that is not readily available on the surface it is a semi-mystical experience. However, the interpreter of prophecy is not like those who follow the Khabbalah. The student of Khabbalah looks for special revelation in hidden meanings under the words themselves. Khabbalah as a system discards the natural meaning, and a different mysticism, which is more akin to spiritism, with specters and ghostly apparitions is a possible accoutrement to the discovery of the second and, to him, more important, Khabbalah, or "hidden meaning." I reject the concept of hidden meaning in the sense of Khabbalah. The true interpreter of prophecy seeks, in the visions, a transportation beyond the natural ordinary experiences. But he seeks by natural and ordinary means of studying the literal meaning of written prophetic words that were written in a precognitive time frame. He then goes on to discover their fulfillment in historical time. The experience of connecting the precognitive and the historical is mystical and can leave one with the feeling of having touched eternity."
The words in the quotation marks are the words of a man who did a great thing in Bible study, much more than an ordinary man can achieve, including me. He is present on the net and I got lots of help when I was stucked down.
Mentioning Cyrus is in the Is 44:28
"That saith of Cyrus, [He is] my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid."
Chapters 40-55 are DeuteroIsaiah and are definitly not written by Isaiah himself, so we do not know if the author of chapter 44 was alive when Cyrus helped Jews to rebuild the temple. This boders me because I conflict the man who knows much more than I do, but this about DeuteroIsaiah is a definite thing.
Reading the Holy Bible is hard work, whole life work but blessed is the one who does it.
