    Dear M.M.

    The Godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) are all of one essence-Divinity. This essence is the very Being and nature of God. This Oneness in nature is "what" God is and only God possesses this essence. As One being in essence, God exists in three distinct Persons who have will, intellect, emotions, a mind, an Who interact with one another within this one essence. This is the "Who" of God.

    Although this Oneness is impossible for us to completely understand, as God is infinitely Divine and the Persons of the Godhead are inseparably unified within the Godhead. It is not that each Person of the Godhead has the same mind, will, or love for each that makes them One. It is that there is only One Divine essence, which is eternal, infinite, totally unique and unlike anything else. There is none other like Him, nor will there ever be anyone else like Him because everyone else is a created being and cannot acquire this divine essence. This essence (or nature) cannot be added to nor subtracted from. It cannot be communicated (given) to any other being. God alone possesses this nature.

    Also, as Jesus said, The Father Himself are one and that He is in the Father and the Father is in Him. ( John 14:9-11) ( John 14:19-20) Jesus came forth from the Father t become Man ( John 16:28) even though the Father and Himself remained One concerning the Divine nature. The Holy Spirit come forth from the Father and the Son to abide within us, but He also remained One with the Father and the Son concerning the Divine Nature.

    As human creatures we can admit that the Godhead is beyond human understanding because His essential Being is completely "other" than anything else. This is called His "transcendency" because His Being is beyond our ability to comprehend or even describe as human words cannot fully describe His Being, His Oneness, and being three distinct Persons in One Being. We know what He has revealed to humanity about Himself, but cannot totally understand Him.

    God not only remains in the fire with us when we are in the fire like He was in the fire with the three Hebrews in the furnace mentioned in Daniel, but God often puts His children in the fire for their growth and perfection.

    Behold, HE that keepeth Israel shall neither slumbers nor sleep.

    Psalms 121:3

    He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

    Roman's 11:7-8

    What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election (Gentiles) hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

    According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear; unto this day.

    Comment: no one is sneaking anything past God. We can choose to live for Messiah Jesus, or ___.

    Hello Larry. Not sure if you're suggesting that God anointed men from the East to be His witnesses, i.e. Muslims. Maybe not & I misunderstood you & you meant something else, because not only does Isaiah not suggest that, but Islam only came into being from approx. 610 AD when Muhammed supposedly began receiving revelations & Judah's captivity to Babylon commenced from approx. 590 BC.

    Isaiah 43:11

    I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.

    If Jesus is not God then He is no saviour because there is no Saviour but God.

    We face many trials as human beings and they bring a lot of fear into our hearts. Sometimes we don't know what to do, and the only place we can turn is to our heavenly Father.

    God knows that in this world we will face many trials but throughout His Word, He gives us encouragement and comfort in the scriptures.

    When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

    It's normal to feel alone when all around you is falling apart and you see no hope of the end coming soon. With God, you can face any trial and overcome it because He gives you His power and strength.

    He knows that trials can easily crush and destroy you if He does not intervene. Rest in the hope that God sees your situation and will help you.

    Isaiah 43:2 was written when

    God was comforting His people and reminding them that He was their redeemer, and would be with them just like He was when they left Egypt (bondage to sin).

    1 Peter

    5 for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

    6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

    7 Casting all your care(s) upon him; for he cares for you.

    8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

    Sometimes it helps me to pray if I pray the Lords prayer_and stop on each line and put in my own thoughts.

    Like, Our Father who art in heavenI add my own thoughts of praise and worship of WHO HE IS in my sometimes, needy life. He is "our daddy". We are allowed to run to Father for our needs.

    Jesus prayed, "Father forgive them; they know Not what they do." Jesus opened that place we can go to for refuge and help; comfort.

    Take advantage of what was provided__through Jesus's shed blood. Honor the blood of that sacrifice.

    What is meant by the rivers and fire in verse 2 here? they will not overflow thee or not be burned neither any flame kindle upon thee.

    Hi Joe.

    The first 12 verses is rectrospect 13 through 28 is judgement, redemption and restoration.

    Here we see where God says he created Israel, he also redeemed Israel and he will restore them! This section of scripture proves God is not done with Israel as some the Church has replaced Israel in receiving the promises given in the Old Testament or the promises given to Israel is actually to the church and not Israel.

    Look at these verses! Isaiah 43:24-25.

    24) "Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities."

    25) I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." )

    Verse 25 says a lot! God stake his Great name on the restoration of Israel!

    See Jeremiah 31:34-37.

    That restoration and redemption doesn't depend on Israels faithfulness

    See Jeremiah 23:5-8.

    Parallel these verses with Isaiah 43 and you will also discover the father and the son in the God head.

    Chapter 43 vs 19-20-21. Kjv This is a vision. The owls are birds , the dragons r herds of animals. This is a similar vision in Zechariah we're he talks about what Jerusalem will look like after the 7 th trump is blown. In 43 that is almost the same vision. In the vision u will be standing on Gods Holy mountain. In the East looking down off his mountain u will see a River of fast moving stream. And the other side will be animals in herds. The ground around u will be nothing but sand and pebbles. The birds will come over u in flocks as far as u can see. Everything and ur self will feel Gods presence. To the East and a little north will be 2 hills with a beam of sun light through clouds shining down on them. That will be the mount of olives split into. As u turn and walk west u will start to walk then realize u can move without effort. Once u make it to the west of that holy mountain u will be able to see down below and it's like large blocks that fell out of the mountain. There will be a stream of water that comes from the south and comes close to bottom of that mountain. U will be given a desire to get down to it. There are trees growing next to the course of water. Willows. As u walk into this stream of water it never comes much higher than ur knees. Then the desire to drink the water overwhelms you. Then u drink. This is the vision all of Gods chosen r given. Who shall stand on Gods Holy mount. He who has a pure heart. This vision is not written other than in pieces. Only if u see this in vision will u know about what I left out. I'm looking for someone that has also seen this. Only he can fill in the blanks.

    Do u understand that chapter 43 vers 20 and 21 r a vision given to his elect. It's a signature given to his elect. Zechariah saw it also. Also we're ever it is written. He that have a ear. Also Jeremiah 31. A new thing in the earth. Wondering how far into the truth u know. Have seen the white stone. The book of life. Have u stood on Gods holy mountain.

    I noticed in the King James Version in Isa. 43:10 it says "Lord" instead of Jehovahwhile other scriptures in this translation have the name Jehovah in the proper place such as in the following scriptures:

    Dear Eric , Jesus is all over the old testament , the more times you read it the more times you will recognise him . Ive been reading it for half my life , twenty seven years and I'm still seeing him for the first time . The Bible is a real treasure chest and it's bottomless , keep digging , there is always something new to find .

    I would point your grandson to the love of the Father, the love of the Holy Ghost and the love of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Isaiah 53:4-6 I would encourage him to find out all about why God sent his only begotten Son to die on a cross for us that we would see our need of a Saviour. Jesus hung on that cross for our salvation our healing and our wholeness. " 2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus. Psalms 138:8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD endureth forever: Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

    I can't give you any behavioral advise, but I do have a comment on the subject. Every passage in the Bible regarding homosexuality always puts it in a foul light, even to infer that they are an aberration in need of repenting.

    If God made a person that way, and by no fault of their own, why would God want to harm His creations? The Word of God is calling these people out, the people whom he himself cross-wired. Something seems awry for the regular homosexuals of the deal. Could God be speaking of people that are perverted, sexual gluttons, like the late residents of Sodom and Gomorrah? Could God's message have been tampered with, or lost in translation? Can anyone translate the texts in question? Thank you.

    1 Corinthians 6:9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor ( EFFEMINATE, )nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

    To begin with, it came into the world as a form of punishment.

    Romans 1:19-28. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

    For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

    Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

    And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

    Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

    Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

    For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

    And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

    I am wanting information in the Bible about being Gay so my Grandson that is 16 can research himself what God and the Bible has to say about it. That way he can see it for himself and know that none of us is judging him or lying to him about it. I just brought him home from a place where I guess he thought he could beat it out of him and humiliate him in public and I know that wasn't going to get it. Thank you for all the information you can give me.
