    are they the priest, pastors

Thank you so much for that explanation. I can read the verse with a clearer undersanding
  • Chris - in Reply on Isaiah 43
In Isaiah 43:28, God is saying that the princes of the sanctuary (i.e. the priests who served God in the Tabernacle) who were considered special, set apart for God's service, would also suffer the same fate as the people (i.e. they would be profaned or treated with contempt rather than being honoured for their special position).

Another rendering of "given Jacob to the curse & Israel to reproaches", speaks of Jacob (Israel) given to destruction in their respective captivities to Babylon & Assyria & that in their captivities they would be scorned & held in contempt by the inhabitants of those lands. It was a very bleak outlook for Judah & Israel, but was a necessary punishment because of the many sins they committed & even at times, falling down to worship idols. They did suffer badly, but did they learn their lesson? Man has the eternal compulsion to follow after the world & not obey the God Who loves & cares for him.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) when seeking answers -sometimes its hard to find Gods will or purpose for my life- through all the agendas of others -deceiving us through lies and false messages ,and even my own short comings in prayers and interpretations --I second guess things -now -where as before I was more confident in what the Lord was telling me -- i turned to the Lord-for all advice and prayed , read the bible -I get the answers and things were progressing --now looking back-my husband was the wrong choice the inability to have financial stability and a Christian home-says all my efforts were a waste - meaning it started well then I guess somewhere it was stressful and my agendas to relieve it going to god for answers well well It was a failure big time but we are alive --so was it to conclude now i come to the lord with his purpose --so now again I come to the Lord with a decision--tell me suggestions on my approach --seeking Gods will and purpose

Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Matthew 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

    Matthew 6:9

    John 14:13-15

    13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins, repent of your sins, pray to the Father in heaven in Jesus name. Pray privately in sincerity because the Lord knows what your thinking. Our Father wants to hear from his children and loves us very much. He might not love what we do sometimes but he still loves us.

Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening!

My prayer for you and me.

Grace and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. That God will fill you with all joy and peace believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Be at peace today, please do not upset yourself with the horrors that are taking place in the world. Finally be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with us. Amen

Something for us to meditate on that is pure and true.

    AND WE KNOW:

That our Savior is true. Matthew 22:16, Mark 12:14

That our Savior sayest and teaches rightly Luke 20:21

That our Savior is a teacher come from God John 3:2

  • FAnn Anglin on Isaiah 43
On Is:43 Friends let no one deceive you-there is Sin always will be Sin

That's the reason why Jesus left His Throne sitting on the Wright Hand of God The Father and come down to give Himself a

Ransome for UsAll, because God The Father couldn't fine anyone sinless, So Jesuscame down n died to save UsAll and because of His Love for us(John ch3:16-21

Because of Sin, why Jesus had to come down born as a little child, InviteHim to come N abide in You(The HolySpirit)

Then the Father will see us through Jesus He is the only way to The Father. God the Fatherwants us to seek Him n talk with Him but we have to go through that Door which is Jesus(the only Perfect One)Sin will always be here Be Bless
  • Mishael on Bad Memories - in Reply on Isaiah 43:18
So did I. By faith I asked God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to remove the memories of sin. I had been an astrologer and my mind was filled with 1000s of interpretation of planetary aspects.

Afterward, I tried to remember anything simple and it was just gone from me!!

The Holy Spirit already knows what's troubling your mind. If it's old lovers or memories of abuse even: BY FAITH

give the memories to Him and He will give you peace from the old sins; memories.

Every time you remember that you forget, Praise God.

Memories are a place that Satan can still try to deflate our happiness in being saved and belonging to God.
  • Mishael on Compromise - in Reply on Isaiah 43:18
You need to stay in Luke 15. Backsliding isn't really enjoyable. When all your money is gone, all those good pals move on.

The more you stray, the more you struggle to come back home where you are loved.

The conviction in your heart means the Holy Spirit is still dealing with you.

There's a stronger word written in Deuteronomy 30:14-19

I wish someone had told me that when I was younger. I wasted a lot of years.

When you are Born Again, John 3:3-21, you will receive help from the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all Truth.

Confess weakness at 1 John 1:9. Every day if need be. Receive strength. Gods mercies are new EVERY morning. Remember to thank Him for it.

Satan hates to lose one; but you make it clear that he has NO claim on you.

You wrote in. I think you are going to make it. I pray The Lord would reveal His Glory and blessing on you; keep His hand on your Life and strengthen you.

Build a little block of time in your days to spend in the Bible. Read the Gospels how strong and focused Jesus was. How aware of the people around him, he was. He didn't talk over their heads. He spoke plainly and openly.

If Jesus had 99 sheep in the fold and you had wandered a distanceHe would come find you.
  • Josephine Emmanuel on Isaiah 43:7
God made us for his glory , god want our lives to dramatize his power also showcases his beauty, all our endeavors must glorify his name . i can say god created me for his glory not for satan's glory.

I've repented but feel do distant from God. I know i am not the only one i read a lot of comments about people not feeling forgiven. Someone help
  • Mishael On The Harvest - in Reply on Isaiah 43:11
Instead of washing your mouth out with soap (yes, they did that)>>> you renew your mind With the washing of the Word of God.

Studying takes time, lots of time! First you need to be baptized into the Holy Spirit so you can understand what you're reading. He is your Teacher.

Jesus said to Follow Him, so you gotta get boots on and see which way he's goin.

A new song: if you're saved and you know it..... tell someone. :D

That's when you find out people have questions and you're not sure about the answers.

Look. Everybody else is out of the closet, so should be Christians. Then there's the fact that our country kicked Jesus out of schools in 1962.

In 1973, Roe vs Wade made it legal to abort college tuition payers who would become future taxpayers so your future as a retiree would be secure too. No one anticipated future fallout from that. I asked God what can we do, and He said he was going to take care of it! Did you know all the little almost babies are in heaven now, alive and well. Heaven is going to be fantastic. And there will be pizza too.

If you draw close to God so that your footsteps are almost on His, you will learn many things. He's the most interesting person I ever met. Study the relationship between Father and Son; Son and Holy Spirit. What do they say about each other? What do they do together? Look at this planet and the universe and note all the sheer numbers and varieties of each species, landscapes, vegetation's. Imprint your memories. Isaiah 51:6,

2nd Peter 3:10-12. New Jerusalem will be even more beautifully adorned.

What an exciting time for you. We are the generation that will NOT pass away till all these things happen.

You may be the workers of the Lord of the Harvest. Praise God.

Now go look up all these scriptures :)

Who's sleeping? We have to wash clothes & fold them too. Read some of the history at the bottom of this page. Hit it hard all weekend...
  • Mishael on Isaiah 43:11
No one is going to agree on the time of the Caught Up (rapture). IT'S A MYSTERY!

Trying to predict it is akin to those who predicted 1988 to be that time. It didn't happen.

The harmony of the gospels all agree that ONLY the Father knows. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God until such time. He's interceding for ALL saints, presently.

Caught Up clearly means that Jesus will NOT descend all the way to earth (as most have agreed upon). This is happening in the air. We escape the law of gravity in a blink. He meets us, and we are transformed. Those who sleep will rise with their transformed bodies. Jesus our Bridegroom, will take His Bride to a wedding and supper. There will be wine.

Who cares what exact date that happens? What is the fear? Do we think, oh I still have time to willfully sin a bit longer? Or maybe you'll think about getting loved ones born again? That's so HOLLOW. This is one time not to procrastinate.

We are TOLD to be ready with our lamps full of the oil of the Holy Spirit. Oil in one hand and "wedding dress" on.

I have sensed by what I've read, that readiness is the key consideration.

The Caught Up is NOT the triumphant return. We will not be here when the remainder of unfulfilled prophesies are suddenly fulfilled. Woe to everybody who chooses a TRIB. Don't be a Virgin with an empty Lamp!!!

Have you timed a twinkling of eye blink?

Get your last minute cares done NOW. Or you may be LEFT BEHIND. No oil, no wedding apparel, so sorry.

If you write a book on pre, mid, or post tribulation, I will not buy it. I'm ready to fly now :D
  • Rich on Isaiah 43:11
Can we as Christians believe these same promises that God gave to the Israelis or are they just to the Jewish people at that time, Isaiah 43 vs 25, will he blot out my sins for his own sake if I ask for forgiveness?
  • Mary Jane Humes - in Reply on Isaiah 43:11
Rich, here is a verse for you: 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

    Praise God for His forgiveness!
  • Jesse - in Reply on Isaiah 43:11
    Rich,

Isaiah 43:25 would apply to everyone as far as sin goes. At that time, it would have applied to the Jews. There were no Christians at that time. Jesus Christ came and paid the penalty for sin. When you received Christ, your sins were wiped away and forgiven. He paid a debt none of us could pay. Every sin you've ever committed in the past, and any sin you commit in the future, have been forgiven because Christ paid for that sin by shedding His blood at the cross.

This does not mean that if you commit an act of sin after you are saved, that you don't have to confess that sin and ask for forgiveness. Even though Jesus paid for our sin, when we commit an act of sin, we break our fellowship with Him, and we must confess that sin and ask for His grace and mercy to forgive that act, and to restore that fellowship back with Him. However, your relationship as a child of God remains intact.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." There's no sin in Christ. He didn't deserve to die. But God made Him to be sin for us. He died our death, that we could be made the righteousness of God in Him. When we stand before God one day, we're going to know we don't deserve to be there. But we enter in because He will see Christ in us, and in Christ, there is no sin.
  • Alex on Isaiah 43:11
The Father says he will Not judge the world and Jesus also says he will not judge the world its only his Words that will judge the world Which is the H.G. His words are living beings that come from heaven they are the seeds of the sower that are gonna be planted in humanity Jesus said when HE the spirit of truth is come he will reprove the world of sin and judgement and righteousness they are our new inner men the h.g. the gifts of God to humanity they have to be born in us they come from his mouth his words + our hearing as faith comes by hearing. The Son that is gonna judge the world is the H.G. And they are also his fire as the prophet said i will make the words in your mouth as fire and this ppl the wood. His baptism of fire is gonna destroy mans Adamic nature.Thats y God is refers to as a consuming fire the H.g. is that consuming fire Jesus said the H.G. will come in His name meaning the H.G is his son his offspring simply b/c the H.G comes outa of his loins ( his seed ) his BREATH, his words etc.Just as Solomon came outta of the loins of David the H.G will come outa of the loins of Christ meaning his seed which are his Words.Thats y we cannot speak a word against the h.g. simply b/c he is our own personal God if we are not faithfull to what belongs to God he will not give us our own God which is his Son the H.G. HIS NAME IS EMANUEL GOD WITH US,Remember to whom the word came it made them Gods. Why am i telling ya all this simply b/c without a 3 rd person there cannot be an Israel of God which is the multiplication of God in humanity via his WORD THE Promise. Now maybe you will understand y jesus was so passionate about about the babes and sucklings THEY ARE SPIRITS that which is born of the spirit is spirit the h.g. which answers to the babes and sucklings, mankinds fruit unto God

    Exodus 15:26

    Please explain the Lord's statues
  • Chris - in Reply on Isaiah 43:11
Pamela, I can explain the Statutes (not statues) of the LORD, but it would be helpful to you (I hope) that the other similar utterings from God be quickly explained. So when you read the Scriptures, you will know what they mean.

    Commandments: are Orders or Charges.

Judgements: instructions as to what to do in a situation.

Statutes (also given as Ordinances): decrees or requirements or boundaries set by God.

Law: is a general word to encompass the above, but of course, Law can be given by God or man.

That is a very brief description that may help you even though it may seem a little puzzling to us today. The Jews who read their Torah, the Psalms & the Prophets, knew well the meaning of those words & how they applied to them.
  • Jeri Branham on Isaiah 43:11
Is there any place in the Bible that says that we will know each other in Heaven?
  • Mishael - in Reply on Isaiah 43:11
When you enter this website, type: IN HEAVEN. Go through the verses. You will learn much.

If you truly look around at earth and see all the variety of things God made, how could you not know now, that heaven is beautiful. Lots to do there.

Personally I think we will see our loved ones who are there already. I don't think they sit on bleachers watching us every day. There's a veil between us and them for now.

There is no marriage or old boyfriends or girlfriends. Heaven is not earthy.

You need to be forthcoming with why you want to know if we will know and recognize each other. Would you go to hell if you thought a loved one was there?

That movie 'What Dreams May Come', is just that: a script someone dreamed up and turned into a movie.

I want to see Jesus! That's my desire. Whatever happens after that is all full of wonder I am sure. Really peer at earth and universe photos and see what you see.
  • Mishael on Isaiah 43:11
I think one of the ways that satan comes against us is found in Genesis 3:1.

"Hath God said...". He starts trying to twist what the Word of God says. Confuse us. Make us doubt. Make us believe God didn't tell us the complete truth or is withholding information.
