Isaiah 43 speaks to Israel, God's people, how He has redeemed them and done a new thing in them. God provides for His children and He provides for those who are grafted into His family tree. I heard "Behold I will do a new thing" this morning in my spirit. I am at a point where I am looking for God to do a new thing in my life. He will redeem, provide, renew and refresh His people.

Once in heaven, you don't remember life here on earth. To do so would bring pain and the bible says there is no pain in heaven no tears, no heartache, no sickness.........no death. No one up there remembers anything that happened on earth. Every time a new soul enters heaven, they are immediately recognized by their loved ones that are there they are "known as they were known" on earth.
  • Teri on Isaiah 43 - 4 years ago
Yes this chapter is about Israel, like all of us they too must recognize their need for repentance and turn to Yahweh! Messiah Jesus is the Only way.
  • BSP on Isaiah 43 - 5 years ago
Verse 4~Jehovah God views his people as precious and loves them very much.
  • Ivy Johnson on Isaiah 43 - 5 years ago
The Bible indicates that at the Transfiguration of Jesus, Peter, James and John recognize Moses, and Elijah. We will know and recognize each other more fully, than we do now, and they will recognize us also. The Apostle Paul declared : now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known( I Corinthians 13:12): The rich man, in hell, recognized Abraham, and Lazarus in his bosom.
  • Sandy Barwick on Isaiah 43 - 5 years ago
I know we will know our loved ones and other verses tells we will be like Christ and other verses tells me that we will not remember the things of old so what does it mean we will be known as we were known
  • Cleo on Isaiah 43 - 6 years ago
This scripture tells me through the hardest of times, the Everlasting Father will be us no matter what!
  • Idongesit on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
From the verse the Lord said you have not give me, i believe given is like a love relationship between the giver and God.He has given his son to show you his love. Its just a way of appreciating him. Remember the cows on a thousand hills is not enough to take care of his launch and all things belongs to him, its not good to rob him, you get blessed when you give sacrificially with love.

  • Daniel Jambita Tiny on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
I am impressed by the declaration of safety that Jehovah makes in verse 2. Seemingly, some brethen are drawing controversy out of the 'saviour' issue. This results from the reluctance to read the verse before and after verse 11. Yahweh simply reminds Israel in verse 12 that out of the wonders of redemption He has had upon them before, they should acknowledge that He has no competitor.
  • Tom Marsal on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
since I can't get to your site 2 COR.9 talks of giving freely to the ministry I wholeheartedly agree we should a tithe is in the law it is not a freely given gift a requirement yes. the verse says nothing about tithe. Your comment that this supports tithe is wrong we give now out of love for the lord not a law commanding us. there is a new covenant; tithe is part of the old;give not pay
  • Robert L on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
This chapter is about the restoration of Israel at the second advent. Also, the condemnation of Israels sins. This chapter pertains to the Jews. There are no references's to Christians at all.
  • Gonad on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
Isaiah 43:11, I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

As it applies to Earth's timeline the Saviour, Jesus Christ had not yet come. Even so Jesus Christ is one with God.

John 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Bible from beginning to end is about Jesus Christ.

Really good question. Always search bible for answer!
  • Danielle on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
God specifically said there is no savior... How are you all still getting "Jesus" out of this?
  • Stephen F. Zielski on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter whose praise is not of men, but of God. Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
  • Norm on Isaiah 43 - 8 years ago
You write truth here brother Robert! May the most High God, our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST, bless you and yours! Amen and Amen. Psalms 50:16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. 21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Matthew 26:61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. 62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
  • Robert Lucini on Isaiah 43 - 8 years ago
Isaiah 43:11 Whenever we see "LORD" in capital letters it is "JEHOVEH" in the original Hebrew language. Here God says that He is JEHOVEH the ONLY SAVIOUR! Since there is only one Word, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, God is SHOWING US JESUS CHRIST THE SAVIOUR always was! 1/9/2016 RL
  • Bruce Burkley on Isaiah 43 - 8 years ago
Isaiah's words reveal the benefits of the Gospel [1 Cor.15.1-4 ] to us who trust in it with strong faith. Who would think something AS THIS would come from Isaiah? [Verses 19, 21, and others ] Our God is certainly almighty, and merciful to us former gentiles. Blest be the God of Israel!!
  • David on Isaiah 43 - 8 years ago
God is with you always in wherever situation you are in God will stand for you even although you pass through waters and if you pass through the fire you will not be destroyed God is there to protect you all the time
  • Joyce Ballentine on Isaiah 43 - 8 years ago
No Matter What's Going On In Your Life At This Moment Remember That GOD Is ALWAYS With Us. Isaiah 43:2 Says That When You Pass Through The Waters I Will Be With You, And That The Rivers Shall Not Overflow You, And That When You Walk Through The Fires That You Wouldn't Be Burned. NO MATTER YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, KNOW THAT GOD IS GONNA SEE YOU THROUGH.

what ever we may face good or bad, God word of promise says, come let us plead together which means we can talk and entrust all of our cares in good times and bad to him. I am so glad that God words goes before him, therefore it is most powerful. Thank you Jesus.
  • Freddy on Isaiah 43:10 - 8 years ago
No Kevin your wrong. This proves Jehovah's witnesses wrong. They call Jesus "another" god. They change john 1.1 to ...and the word was a god. The Greek says the word was God.
  • OKOYE CLIFFORD on Isaiah 43 - 8 years ago
