very true Adam. Its true all these things have to pass, once they try for one world religion and bring the beast system with the AC known to all. We will know that our Lord & Savious Yeshua will be the focus. The last 3 years of fear in a unicorn virus has shown many have had to choose and it went either way. The finacial revolution is the test, will people sell out once they can no longer buy or sell unless tey conform. the war is already been in play, but the physical war is not to fear, the spiritual war is our focus. stay strong brother

That's a profound verse. It's upsetting to see so many people disregard the Bible and verses like this, spread lies about the Bible in order to ban it from school, so young people are no longer exposed to it, and have no moral guidance. The result is, in the USA we have young people acting out, shooting each other, not able to cope with their emotions which are triggered by lies they're told, and evil judges punish good actions while rewarding bad, evil corrupt politicians steal from the people to impoverish them, and now are leading us to a possible world war and possible nuclear war. It's like watching a train wreck occur in slow motion and you feel powerless to stop it.

An extremly deep verse, humility is a ppowerful thing to grasp. Thank you Yahweh, Yeshua. You are my everything , the journey has been long, i have failed you many times and still i have not found real peace, but you give me peace through your mercy to continue on.

Verse 17-Peace is a result of righteousness. True peace can not exist apart from God since He sets the standard for true righteousness.

Hi. Matthew Henry speaks of these verses very clearly on his commentary.

What is the meaning of Isaiah chapter 32 verses 5-11 concerning Liberals ? Is God saying Liberals today are Evil and Wicked just like in the past?
  • Carleton Johnston - In Reply on Isaiah 32 - 3 years ago
Thank you Chris, I was mostly thinking of my own life in Christ where in the wilderness I found judgement and righteousness in the same field.

Carleton, Isaiah 32 speaks about the time after the Assyrian army would be destroyed & peace & tranquillity would again return to Judah. Without going through the whole chapter, your question on verse 16 continues on with that theme of restoration.

I think the word 'judgement' is what is concerning you here. I checked the original Hebrew word & it comes up as 'mispat', (pronounced, mishpat), which essentially means 'justice'. So we can read that verse as, "then justice or righteous judgement will dwell in the wilderness (& this wilderness we're told will become a fruitful field (v15)), where righteousness will already be"). So it was a welcome prospect for Judah who were in dread of the Assyrians.

Like how v 16 conforts the soul, that judgment will be found dwelling in the wilderness along with the righteousness of the field.

In the New Year l will continue and walk with God's Son-- Jesus. Am weary from seeing everyone suffer so much from the Evilness of this world. You have to gather strength every attack that overwhelms you, by reading the word- or on your knees praying for His Light of Strength to carry you through. He is your Father in Heaven who Created you. His Love will overwhelm you!! PRAISE HIS NAME ALWAYS!!

I believed in God for many years and tried to receive the Holy Ghost by speaking with tongues. In Milwaukee County Mental Health I witnessed a youth that had the lips of a stammerer. He was singing with tongues. I eventually received the Holy Ghost by as the lips of a stammerer. Stammering is the same as Stammering lips and another tongue. But my experience came from my Mental Health Complex.

How does someone know they have been forgiven, it is through the peace we know within, both with God and ourselves. It's experienced through a perfection of conscience which has come through our Lord Jesus Christ's blood being shed and shared.

"And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever." Jesus said, If you love me, keep my commandments! If there is truly a work of grace wrought in us, then we will show its effects by our manner of life and good works. Not only in hearing or talking, but in deed and in truth; for the kingdom of God is not only in word, but in power!

When the Lord will come in all his glory, He will restore all his people, all his children which love him and believe him. We shall no more be weak, but stronger. The pains, the difficult time we live shall no more have power against us. Jesus will transfer us in his peaceful city: The new Jerusalem, where we shall be comforted, Revelation 21:4.we shall no more be the same, but the new beings which will clothe immortality with The Lord Jesus to a pleasant life forever in the celestial place. That was what Isaiah predicts in the first time. This must encourage us to bind ourself to the Lord, that this prediction be our reward and have his accomplishment in our life. Tell to all men and women to be for the Lord, believing Jesus. Let the Lord bless You. Amen !

This verse for me points to the completeness and perfection of God's protection for those who trust in his son Jesus Christ. The range of his protection is enough for each and every turmoil that may happen to us. The Wind, the storm, droughts and a shadow for the heat of the day in a thirsty land. Oh Rock of ages, I trust in Thee.
