  • When the Bible speaks of women covering the head, is it talking biblically to cover with the spirit of the Lord ? Or an actual head covering before we pray?
  • Chris for verse 1
1 Corinthians chapter 11 gives the ruling on head covering, of both men & women. The instruction is clearly that of a physical head covering & the reason for that is because of the order of creation (Christ is the head of man, as man is the head of woman) & for the observance of angelic beings in our corporate worship (v 10). This instruction was never to be a burden for women, as in those days particularly, it was quite natural for the head to be covered. But there may have been some who refused to do so, & therefore this instruction was given. And this applied to men who wilfully refused to remove their covering. All these actions were dishonouring to the Lord & showed contempt for each other.

Why is this not generally practised today? Various reasons are given, chiefly because of it not being culturally done/acceptable in general society, except for protection from the sun or for fashion at events. Each one of us must be convinced in our own hearts over this matter & to be careful not to be in judgement over another thus falling into sin.

Chapter 30 and 31. At that time GOD is forced to apply HIS wrath on HIS chosen people. HIS chosen people sought other for their help, not knowing others also are due the wrath of GOD. A repeat of yesteryear has occurred again in 2020, because Collectively the chosen ones has ran to others for help, thereby adding sin to sin. Others has already turned away from GOD. John 3:16-21 is our only HOPE.

There is a difference between "called" and "chosen." We must understand this vital distinction when interpreting scripture.

An open rebuke is better than secret love.

God is waiting for whosoever will call on the name of the Lord...v18! His arm is outstretched still to those who need to repent. I was once rebellious and my daughter too, but praise the Lord that He waits for us. That's what we want for ourselves and our children, and that's what Father God wants for His creation.

Verse 18~Jehovah God is patient with us all because he does not want anyone to be destroyed and he wants us to imitate him and be patient as well.

    V. 15 Jesus, let us trust in the salvation You alone provide.

Verse 15~By trusting in Jehovah God and doing things his way, we will be saved.
  • Obbie Beal
Again; the chosen one's made very sinful chores thereby angered Jehovah; so Jehovah allowed his chosen one's to have what 'they /chose asked for'; though it would cause pain-and-suffering it was 'their' chores. After enough pain-and-suffering Jehovah was still standing where thy left HIM, and waiting for the chosen one's to rightly return to Jehovah and His blessing. SIN, SIN, SIN, WOW! WOW! WOW!

Verse 21: God continues to give us direction through the pages of his Word, the Bible.

"Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:" WE ARE AN EPISTLE OF CHRIST, which all men read; and The Father has sent His Spirit into our hearts, to be worked out in our lives, and so to convict the world and show them Jesus!

referring to V.10: It is important to listen to good preaching that goes deep, instead of one who speaks "unto smooth things" and keeps it PC and doesn't want to upset anybody

My favorite book -but do not have wisdom to comprehend it.

The opening verses showed that the Israelites needed help but they failed to look to the proper place for help. Jehovah God is the best source of help possible and they should have looked to Him instead of putting trust in men and horses. If we fail to look to the right place for help we will experience hardship just as the Israelites did.

Thank you for producing this commentary. I found it to be just wonderful andd quite helpful. I am a reader of the word and it speaks to me, but sometimes we need to hear whatother believers have to say, too. Thanks!

THE WAY OF GOD IS ALWAYS HOLY AND TRUE! TO SAY WE DO THE WILL OF GOD SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, 24 HRS A DAY WOULD BE A LIE! JESUS WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS LIVED ON THIS EARTH AND KEPT THE WHOLE LAW PERFECTLY! SO THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE JUSTICE IN OUR LIFE IS ONLY THROUGH THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD! WHEN WE REALLY RECIEVE THE GRACE OF GOD IN OUR LIVES, THEN CHANGE IN OUR LIVES WILL HAPPEN! CHANGE WILL NOT HAPPEN JUST BECAUSE WE WANT TOO, BUT CHANGE COMES WHEN WE DEPEND ON THE GRACE OF GOD! John 15:5 SAYS "WITHOUT HIM WE CANNOT DO NOTHING "! THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE A FRUITFUL LIFE IS TO STAY ON THE VINE JESUS ! LORD I PRAY IN OUR LIVES WE LEARN TO WAIT ON U AND TRUST U FOR WHAT IS GOING ON IN OUR LIVES! LORD THANK U FOR LOVING US EVEN WHEN WE WERE NOT LOVING U! AMEN! GLORY BE TO GOD!!!
  • Bro. Bob for verse 15
This single virse of scripture undoubtedly contains some of the most vital of all spiritual secrets the true Israel of God must learn to employ to maintain their faith and preserve a remnant seed in the earth during the days ahead of any thing to be found in scripture.

We must be born Again in Spirit, We must live and follow Jesus for he is the resurrection of life. We must meditate his words day and night and keep them as you love Jesus until rapture. No need to worry about tomorrow, God is a provider and he is faithful to his promises that he will never leave us nor forsake us. whatever turbulence that came into our life just be strong for God is our strength our life belongs to heaven and not on this earth. Ignore everything of what is happening on this earth for this is a wicked place as our flesh is sinful. Thanks to Jesus and praise him for what he has done into our lives. His precious blood that shed for us is his love and mercy. We are saved by his Grace.. I trust you Jesus forever and i will keep your commandments i love you. Amen

Verse 28 the bridle could be economic ties between various nations. In choosing what is worth fighting for, a nations dependency on energy sources from another nation involved in the conflict may be a factor that causes nations to make the wrong choices about which nation to support.
  • Insight 777
Verse 10 explains that people will not want to be forewarned of the coming world war. They would rather hear pleasant lies that all is well. They do not want things explained to them in advance. This chapter is about world war 3 as shown in verse 25, the day of great slaughter. Verse 18 means that even though Israel gets into war that the Lord will prompt men to stop the war and negotiate peace terms. Blessed are all that want this peaceful time. It is called a wait because the Lord knows in advance that the peace terms will not hold. Men are forewarned that killing and WW3 will lead to the result that will be the end of days.

Many people shutting their ears to the Truth and love a message that tickles their ears. They teach their children the same way and they deny there steps are leading to Hell.
