What revelations 1 to 7 mean
  • REVELATION 1 - in Reply on Isaiah 26:20
Give a chapter and then the verse(s) ok?

Personally, I listen to Oral Roberts on Youtube frequently. People hated him for various reasons, but he's a very good commentator. To the point and on target. Some people take a lot of side trips, add memories and history.

I like a teacher that shoots straight like me.

Try it out. Search on YouTube: " Oral Roberts Revelation 1"

Let me know what you think.

God blesses us every time we read the Book of Revelation. Yay! I need all I can hold.

I agree with those who view the present pandemic as a time that God has given us to reflect on not only our lives but on the treatment and justice for everyone.
  • STARLETTA on Isaiah 26:3
what's going on around us is for a reason,we have slow down spending time with god and made time for everthing else...

so this pandemic is here now. i can't speak for no one but myself it truely got my attention. i had to repent and start my first work over..I'm getting back focus. god is calling for his people to repent and go back serving only him. but with all of this going on it is bringing families back together and getting back in touch with love ones and loving and caring again...so something postive has come out of this.at times i just go off and pray and cry out for mercy for the world.it can be depressing at times because we as a nation is not use to this new normal... people of god it's time to repent and pray for the world...be blessed and stay healthy ....GOD BLESS EVERYONE...

It appears that this scripture ( Isaiah 26) is referring to NOW or the near future. He speaks of the Resurrection of the dead and how He will punish the earth for their rejection of Him. This happens immediately following the rapture. This coincides with Rev, 6th Ch.
  • Kayla - in Reply on Isaiah 26:20
I agree and think the same, the rapture is coming. We have fallen and many men have stopped there beliefs in our lord and those of us that hasn't know the truth.

  • NATHANIEL B THOMAS on Isaiah 26
    Who was Isaiah talking to?
  • Chris - in Reply on Isaiah 26
The Book of Isaiah, was written to (speaking to) the tribe of Judah while the ten northern tribes (Israel) were on the cusp of going into Assyrian captivity. Isaiah lived & prophesied during the reigns of Judah's kings: Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz & Hezekiah.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

  • Mickey - in Reply on Isaiah 26:20
First a testimony. Years ago I asked the Lord: how come we only use 10% of our brains? He spoke to my spirit: "you have the mind of Christ." I knew that Jesus has a 100+ mind. I took that to mean that IN Childlike FAITH we can excel in studies. I am not saying it happens for everyone because you have turn your faith loose; nobody else can do it for you. If God says He's for you, who can be against you?

  • Isiah 26:19-21 on Isaiah 26
19 to 21 looks like it is saying there will be Zombies and hide from them in your homes till they pass. Does no one else see this?
  • Adam - in Reply on Isaiah 26
The dead shall rise. They will wake for judgment day when the Lord comes. So, when people die and say 'they are in a better place'- they're actually not in heaven, but just sleeping. To them it will be like a second and they'll be awake again. That is my opinion based on scripture.
  • Hippie - in Reply on Isaiah 26
Soul sleep is a no-go. read the story in Luke 16 Abraham's bosom.
  • Allen - in Reply on Isaiah 26
    I very much agree.
  • Bruce - in Reply on Isaiah 26
It's a Picture of The Rapture. The Dead in Christ will be Removed. The Door is Closed. No More Salvation. There's No Such thing as a Second Chance for Those Left Behind. Blessed and Holy is he that Hath Part in The First Resurrection: Revelation 20:6. Those Who are Not Covered by The Blood of The Lamb are The Walking Dead you can Call Them Zombies. Ask Forgiveness You'll be Changed. John 6:44

Verse 4: We can always trust in Jehovah God and he can give us continuous strength.
  • Rev Autrey on Isaiah 26
In Isaiah 26:1 Jehovah God promised to bring salvation to Jerusalem. But in Luke 13:34 Jesus applies this to himself by saying, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets and stones them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together ... and ye would not!" This means that Jesus is none other than Jehovah himself coming to save us from our sins. Amen
