Isaiah 24 is about the Great Tribulation.

The only way out is via the pretribulation imminent rapture of the church.

Tod be rapture ready is basically to be born again/saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone plus nothing ever forever. Matthew 7:21 onwards is about all those who reject this and attempt to enter Heaven via their works. They are Lordship Salvationists and hence false teachers, false prophets and basically, unsaved sinners.

According to Isaiah, the end-time evil leaders of the Babylon system will pay a heavy price for their behavior. They will be gathered together in a pit, like dogs.

( Isaiah 24:21-22) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

I think you're enquiring about Isaiah 24:23. If so, then this whole chapter deals with Gods' message to Judah through his servant Isaiah, about the future Great Tribulation to come upon Israel (& the whole world). You should read also chapters 25-27. Isaiah writes specifically to his people & how they will be affected. Jesus also spoke of this time ( Mt 24) & particularly in reference to Isa 24:23, Jesus says in Mt 24:29,30, that "the sun & moon will be darkened & the stars fall & then shall He (the Son of Man) appear in the clouds in great power & glory". We understand that this time will be when Jesus, the King of kings will come from Heaven (where He is now at the Father's Right Hand), to reign on the Earth for a thousand years & sin & Satan will be bound. His children will reign with him for a thousand years in Jerusalem. When we consider all that lies ahead & especially the horrors for those who refuse Jesus, we can but rejoice in the gift of Salvation from God.

Verse 5 shows how God views the land as being polluted because the people were not obeying his laws and they were blood guilty. The Israelites had vowed to keep the covenant they willingly made with Jehovah God, but because they broke this promise they were to be removed from the land that God had given them.

This is the Lord Jesus return at the 7th trump. Note verse 2 all are here even them who think they are gone with rapture wings will be with us. But those who didn't bow down to a fake messiah and waited for the true Christ will be protected from what takes place on earth to the heathens at the end.

I think we should take note of this chapter now, not some time in the future. That may be too late, though I do see some passages in Revelation that must be fulfilled before the Lord 's return. The recent quake in Nepal reminds me of another quake in India about three decades ago that left me stunned and seeking God in prayer. When I opened my Bible to that morning 's reading my husband and I read the Bible after meals , it was to the passage that reads, "The earth shall grow old as a garment... and many thousands shall die. " Then, it was as if God had answered my question, "Why? " If this was so in the 1980 's, where are we in time now?

I noticed something interesting about chapter 24, verse 1. If the earfth is turned upside down as indicated in this verse, what would happen to the magnetic field surrounding the earth? Would this not create a suddden Polar Shift, resulting in sev ere Climatic Changes and people seeking to find warmer ares to live in and constant worldwide earthquakes because of the massive shifting of the earth 's tectonic plates which sounds very much like what Jesus describes in Matthew as conditions at his second advent.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as the prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. " This will be during the 6 plague of Revelation 16 where both religious and earthly kings will gather at a place called Amagadone to fight finally fight God 's accusing them of God 's wrath on them. It at that time Christ will come to destroy them with his glory at his coming. In REVELATION 20. we are told that these sinners will be died and the voice will be void and disolet as all nature will be destroyed by the wrath of God at Christ 's coming only Satan will be alive with his angels to dicieve no one on earth hence "bound " for a thousand years after that period, Christ will come agani with the saved ones in New Jerusalem. Then the dead sinners will rise and join Satan to see Christ befoere they will be fanally be destroyed eternally by fire as the the second death. After the death of sinners New Jerusalem will be on earth eternally in paradise by saints who will be back from heaven. Rev elation 20,21,22, Isaiah 24 17 23.

It refers to no other than the Philippines. Its happening right now that a Christian Church in this country glorifies the Lord of Israel in mighty voice singing lioud and shouting Halleluyah. The Isles of the sea is very famniliar to Hebreew Thinkers in that primeval days considering that is the place where they were getting gold since the time of Abraham. The Holy scriptures gives us clue the place or location where the Biblical Hebrew got gold. Its Ophir or the ancient Philippines.

The word in the Hebrew is "old men" or elders, It is hard to believe that it is so ambiguously translated as to be "ancients". There is another Hebrew word for ancient, it is used of God and Jesus "ancient of days". The reign of Christ is accompanied by the agreement of the sun and moon who shine the more in recognition of this fact and will cease also in the same recognition. Evangelists ordain elders ( Titus 1:5), and elders oversee the congregations in the Kingdom of Christ. It is a great loss that this passage has not been accurately translated.

"From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leaness, my leaness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously." ( Isaiah 24:16) I see a correlation here with Revelation. I see a remnant of God's people singing unto Him; I see Isaiah seeing woe "...the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously." Revelation 6:9-11 says, "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." I see in Revelation those who will come out of great tribulation. ( Revelation 7) I think of the Nazi's against the Jews (and other people's as well). When the mass killing began, songs could be heard amongst such evil. Some Jews (and others) may have been heard singing unto God; singing unto His righteousness, holding to their faith and their God; some songs may of been for deliverance. Many went to their death singing both songs. The woe was great when treacherous dealers dealt treacherously with them; very treacherously. In Isaiah, and in Revelation, we see woe, treachery, songs, and great and final deliverance.

There is coming a day when the fallen angels will be able to work against mankind no more.

"There is crying for wine in the streets..." ( Isaiah 24:ll) Did you notice they are crying for wine? They are not crying for bread, neither are they crying for milk, or water; they are crying for wine. Wine is that symbol of effervesing - intoxication, or banqueting. Isaiah speaking of our Lord said "butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good." ( Isaiah 7:15) Do people cry out for butter and honey, or do they want wine? Do we desire the Bread of Life, and the everlasting water, or does our soul desire the wine of fornication? ( Revelation 17:2)
I remember a time when I had a pancake for supper. I did not have syrup for it, just the pancake. I sat on my bed eating that pancake from my hand while sitting before the Lord in His word. My soul was feasting. I desired the Lord and His word. The pancake satisfied my hunger, but, the pancake was secondary; it was the Lord who I desired. It did not really matter what I was eating, the pancake was like a full course meal; yet, it was not the physical food I was eating that made the difference, it was the Lord - he spread a table before me. I was once at meal I was disposed to go to( I Corinthians 10:7) and the head there said to me, "get you a beer." I am not judging anyone who desires a beer, but my thought was "I drink wine;" not the wine of fornication, but the Lord is my joy. He has turned my water into wine. We have recently been in a position to enjoy some things that could be received as "wine of the world." We have been places, and have obtained some things, but, in their proper place they are enjoyment, but they do not exceed the Lord. He is the Lord of the wine. And if I had spent my life working to obtain these things as satisfaction for my soul, I know they would be a huge disappointment. I would say, "is this it?" In their proper place, there is an enjoyment; there is a sweetness when a desire of the soul is accomplished; but, there is nothing sweeter than the Lord. There is no food I can eat, that can satisfy like eating with the Lord. There are no clothes that can beautify more than what the Lord can clothe with. I thank God for every good thing I have had, but, I rejoice most in Him. The Lord can provide a table in the wilderness.
  • Susan Dalton on Isaiah 24:5 - 12 years ago
"The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant." ( Isaiah 24:5) What is the outcome of going against God's way? When we transgress His laws, we move ourselves away from His judgments, thus, we move ourselves away from Him. Devils seek to get man to transgress. Their goal is to traduce man, to lead man across. If God is "A" and Satan is "B", his goal is to lead you from "A to B". Mans transgression began in the Garden of Eden. Satan's trangression began before that, when he transgressed against and away from God. Transgression can be willful or it can be from ignorance. Man can repent from his transgressions and receive forgiveness. A further progression from transgression can be seen in "changed the ordinance..." Man can transgress God's laws, and he can seek to change the ordinances of God. If man does not repent from his transgression, he establishes his own ordinance, his own way. This can be seen in individuals and in groups of peoples. (churches, nations, etc.) I think of Revelation 9:20-21, when it says, "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the work of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornications, nor of their thefts." They have neither repented of the original transgression wherewith every human person is born with a nature transgressed away from God. Neither have they repented from the transgresssions they now commit. If man continues against God's covenant, he will end in ruin. When we transgress against God, and change His ordinances, and break, or despise His covenant, the end of that way is desolation; that is why we can see two ways - the ways of Life and of Death. We can also see the image of God (Jesus Christ) and His kingdom, and the false image of Satan and his kingdom. Satan is a traducer, Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer!!! He is our way back to God the Father.

This has happened time and time again. Recall ancient clay tablets found Mesepotania where the earth had been destroyed by a comet, and carved in stone in 9 countries, the earth had been destroyed by floods several times and by fire, comet. I am sure it was destroyed before and Adam and Eve were put here to restart the world populations again. Recall their children went out and married daughters of men.
Recall that there were giants in the world in those days. Even American Indians speak of 5 worlds before, and have legends that specifically state exact heights of these giants. 8 & 9ft, 14ft, 25ft, and 36ft.
Even ancient Greek wars speak of these giant people out of Iran, as leaders as well as warriers
Everywhere in the world you have stories and carvings about time and time again the world being destroyed by water and fire.
