Wesley's Notes for Isaiah 5:26

5:26 An ensign - To call them together for his service. From far - To the Chaldeans; for even Babylon is called a far country, chap.#39:3|. And he saith nations, because the Chaldean army was made up of several nations. Will hiss - Or, will whistle unto, or for them: will gather them together by his word. as shepherds gather their sheep. He intimates how easily and speedily God can do this work. From the ends - Which is not to be understood strictly, but with a latitude, from very remote places.

Discussion for Isaiah 5

It has been well over 2,000 years, when certain prophesies, were predicted and have now come to pass. Yahweh, is a loving GOD, who has given us a Savior. Lord JESUS, who is the only alternative. If you know anyone, who has not repented and confess JESUS, as Lord and Savior, and the son of the living GOD. Tell them to run for their life, even though there is know where to hide!

God has done everything and still doing for us to follow him. God is so good that if even we are unfaithful he forgive us, once we repent and ask forgiveness, he is always willing to forgive us our sins

What has God done to us that we should turn away from him? Should we expect less for our unfaithfulness to him? He loves us so much he sent his only begotten son to die in our place for our sins. Be faithful to him and turn not away. Our time draws nearer every moment.
