Wesley's Notes for Isaiah 44:15

44:15 Fallen down - Having related the practices of idolaters, he now discovers the folly of them, that he makes his fire and his god of the same materials, distinguished only by the art of man.

Israel Jantzen :JESUS CHRIST has already destroyed the temple (HIS body) on the cross and is building HIS new temple by everyone that receive HIM. All christens are apart of HIS temple, which HE is the head. Are you apart of HIS temple, if not ask HIM to accept you in, HE is love and waiting for all to be part of HIS temple.

Isa 44-45 say that Cyrus would rebuild the temple, but Ezra and Neh say that it was rebuilt during the reign of Darius, three kings later. That is not a contradiction if Cyrus is actually a type of Christ at his second coming, when Ezk 37 says Christ will build his own temple. Notice that that necessarily means that Christ will destroy the third temple that Israel is planning to build.

He that is of God will hear God's words; so then, the Jews who don't believe in Jesus Christ are not of God. And the Lord Jesus said to them, If you will not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins. "Many shall come from the east and from the west, and shall sit down with Abraham and all the Prophets in the kingdom of God; but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out."

YAHCHANAN; The whole purpose of God for calling Israel, and giving them the Law and the Prophets, was for being the family through who Christ was appointed to come into the world. Jesus is the Saviour, not Israel! God hides His face from Israel and has blinded their hearts, until they repent, confess their sins, and the sins of their ancestors, and believe in Jesus: He alone takes away our sins!

Look people you seem to miss a very vital point here, the entirety of the Book from Genesis to Revelation is all about one specific bloodline The Chosen Of The Most High YHWH or Yahweh that you call LORD GOD,The Children Of Israel. This is who The Sacred Scriptures are for and about it is our history and instruction manual. The mistories can not be fully understood except by the Called Out Elect

Ia. 44:6 -" ..... the LORD the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the Lord of Hosts ....."; the word 'his' refers to Israel. The phrase, the Lord the King ..... AND the Lord of Hosts, - God is saying He is both of these; He is the King of Israel AND He is also the Lord of the hosts of Heaven. AND (if one will notice) He says, " ....., beside me their is NO God."
