    Deb,

this phrase speaks to the eternity of God. Always has been, is now, and will ever be.
  • Rick - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 2 years ago
Deb Something consistent and non changing and always true throughout all time God and His Word and

His Son Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever.
  • Deb on Hosea 6 - 2 years ago
What does "which wert and art and evermore shall be mean"?
  • Mari on Hosea 6 - 2 years ago
    To Sandra H.

I hope you see this. I fear you are already sleeping with your ex husband. His mean treatment of you will not stop. I know from experience. I had a baby with my ex after our divorce. i truly love my son but my second husband raised him. My ex is lying in a grave now from unlimited alcohol abuse. The only way he will change is to have a true encounter with Christ.

Jesus was the lamb without blemish chosen from the creation/foundation of the earth and crucified four days later on Earth's 4000th year from creation . Just like the lambs from the Exodus were chosen on the 1(0)th of Nisan and killed on the 1(4)th of Nisan (4 days).

From the time he left earth at the resurrection and Ascension it will be 2000 years or 2 days. 28 -34 to 2028 - 2034.

He will transfigure before mankind after 6000 years and there will be 1000 years of peace. And he will comeback to repay the two Tiberius denarius to the inkeeper and harvest the world. And the Lord will come with ten thousands of his saints. Amen

We are totally not able to predict when Jesus is coming back. I don't think it is going to happen quite the way we imagine.

Then who am I; I don't know anything.
  • Carleton - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 3 years ago

So the Rapture will happen in 2025? Just a thought, as I am positive no one KNOWS!
  • Quesha - replying to Sandra correction - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 3 years ago
According to the bible, you wouldn't be considered married to your husband, because of the adultery on your end. Your adultery freed him from his oath.

Matthew 19:9 - And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Therefore, avoid fornication on both parts, you both will need to stay single in purity or remarry each other.
  • Quesha - replying to Sandra - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 3 years ago
Yes, the Lord will forgive you. But, repentance is more than a prayer, it's a lifestyle. You must continually turn away from a lifestyle of sin. If your ex-husband was mean to you before, given the circumstances, that may not change. In God's eyes, I believe you are still married to him. However, you left him for a reason. I wouldn't go back to that type of bondage. As someone mention earlier, you can help him in other ways. You don't have to sleep in the same bed or be intimate with him. You can stay separated, but you will not have rights to remarry while your ex-husband is living. My recommendation is to regard purity.

  • Leigh King - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 3 years ago
First of all, this isn't a place to discuss personal things; however, I remember what needing help is like and not knowing where to turn. Any sexual relations outside of marriage is sin. Period. If you feel you need to help your ex there are plenty of ways besides giving him a place to lay his abusive head. After we accept Christ and are saved, God expects us to change... move forward and not look back. You already know right from wrong. Do it.
  • Chris - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 3 years ago
yes if you ask for forgiveness through CHrist, you will be forgiven absolutely. Once you ask for forgiveness, the sin then belongs to Christ and you have no right or ownership of it. He has bought and paid for it. Any shame or guilt is His and not yours. As far as your "ex", in God's eyes you are probably still married to him.

The word of God says we are His temple. His death did away with the need for an earthly temple.

Hmmmm, how are you sure jesus eeaveled himself 32Ad?
  • Stanjett - In Reply on Hosea 6 - 4 years ago
No one knows when the end will come. Jesus himself said he didn't know either but my father in heaven , he only knows. Play with numbers all you want but you will not know when the end will come until he come. We can know it is near. Play with these numbers: Multiply 9 by any single number 1-9. Multiply your answer by 12345679. Leave the 8 out.

I believe Hosea is just as relevant for America as it was for Israel. Like Israel, the Bride of Christ has strayed away from Him, a whoring after other gods. Wake up church, cause Jesus is coming soon.
  • Hafford on Hosea 6 - 5 years ago
The inspired scriptures state in Romans 15:4 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning...." and again in first Corinthians 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for examples:and they are written for our admonition..." The book of Hosea was written to Israel telling them they were about to be punished for their unfaithfulness to God. Ditto to us.

Hosea 6-2 is a part of the day of Jezreel prophecy from Hosea 1. In fact it seems the entire book of Hosea is just a part of that prophecy. A top level Leviticus curse to last 2000 years followed by the 1000 year "day of Jezreel". But what triggered it? Per Matthew 17 and Malachi 4 I think the event was the death of John the Baptist. Elijah according to Jesus Christ. His death triggered the curse.

Doug; the saying about "a day is as a thousand years" is for us to understand that there is a day of eternity, and that from the place of God's habitation (in eternity) He beholds all the inhabitants of the earth. We can only begin to see these things in the most obscure and shaded forms in our minds by faith; and they are not to be approved or understood by things which do just for now appear.
  • Doug on Hosea 6 - 6 years ago
2 PETER 3:8 Peter tells us not to be ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Why did he not tell us to remember that JESUS CHRIST died for our sins, or that he rose on the third day. Peter was telling all that put their faith in the Jesus the Christ of Nazareth when the end will come. Not the 24 hour day, so compare HOSEA 6:2

Daniel's week is not one seven year period, it is one forty-nine year period, or one jubilee cycle.

    It is not 7 x 70 = 490 years, it is 7 x 7 x 70 = 3430 years or 70 jubilee cycles.

It is a week of weeks mlitplied by seventy

    BC 1414 AD 2016 = 3430 years

The 50th year was also the 1st of the next set of 49.

    Week 1 BC 1414 - BC 1365
    Week 2 BC 1365 - BC 1316
    Week 3 BC 1316 - BC 12
