HOSEA 10:13 YOU HAVE PLOWED WICKEDNESS YOU HAVE EATEN THE FRUIT OF LIES BECAUSE THOU DIDST TRUST IN THE WAY IN THE MULTITUDE OF THY MIGHTY MEN LUKE 8:14 and that which fell among thorns are they which when they have heard go forth and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life and bring no fruit to perfection

V 12 Father, thank You for Your goodness toward me. Help me walk righteously and seek You alone.
  • William Weathers
Prior to God's raining righteousness upon us, we must seek the LORD; prior to our seeking Him effectively, we must repent of our sin. If we would participate in the very nature of God's, which is righteousness, we must seek to repent and separate ourselves from our pet sins and personally precious idols.

HOSEA 10:13 you have plowed wickedness you have reaped iniquity you have eaten the fruit of lies because thou didst trust in the way of the multitude of thy mighty men JEREMIAH 1:16 and I will utter MY judgements against them toching all their wickedness who have forsaken ME and have burned incense unto other gods and worshipped the works of their own hands

I think we could do as verse 12 seek the LORD until he rains righteousness on us

Verse 12: In order to reap mercy and loyal love from Jehovah God we must worship him in an unhypocritical and upright way.
  • Lois E. Lanier
For me the lesson here is God will always be ready to take us back into His care even though He chastiseth who He Loves . Applied to daily living we should lean not to our own understanding, but first aknowledge Him and He will direct our path.
  • Cheryl for verse 12
Another very good example of the law of sowing and reaping.
