Shows God's love for His church.He wants us to repent and turn back to Him and He will abundantly pardon, for whom the Lord loves He chastens.He is always pleading for it is not His desire that none of us should be lost.His love is an everlasting love
Hosea1 is a book of how God is the one that can change a person life, how he is a forgiving God. Also it show we don't know he God may have for so we can't point finger at who don't need who we not God.
The book of Hosea is to show how much God loves us and we must not worship no other God beside him. We must only serve the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. God is a jealous God and he will do what he says he will do. I love him so much.
I thank God what was written in that book. It teaches the two main points on my side. 1. It is very bad to have Idolitary worshiping. Since it is so painful for any bad to be betryaid in the marrage for example it is how God hated the idoltary worshiping 2. It is very bad to betray your partiner in marage
THIS CHAPTER HELPS US TO UNDERSTAND WHO THE MESSIAH CAME FOR IN THE BOOK OF MATTHEW. HE ONLY CAME FOR THE CHILDREN OF YISRAEL, THE KINGDOM OF YISRAEL IS STILL DIVIDED, BUT WHEN YAHUSHA COMES BACK FOR THE SECOND EXODUS OF THE YISRAELITES HE WILL MAKE THEM ONE KINGDOM AND PUT THEM BACK IN THEIR OWN LAND. I liked the clarity with which God spoke to Hosea. I like to believe that God speaks that clearly to us today. And like Hosea we should listen and act as God speaks to us.
I was directed by Our God on this day; to view this particular chapter of "Hosea", through The King James Version of The Bible online, because I am being cleansed, delivered and redeemed by the power of The Living God and I was instructed to read and gain understanding, so I would have understanding of my own life and the life of our nation, during it's struggles and strife. What did I think of "Hosea?" Praise God in THE HIGHEST; HALLELUJAH Amen!
God is such a redeeming God! Here, He is redeeming the sins of the people through the actions and obedience of Hosea. Otherwise it is actually a lesson of obedience. Gomer may not have got that lesson at first; just as we the children of God may need more than one lesson, but through the diligence of Hosea's obedience to God, love came through and won! As far as marriage goes, we must always first keep the commandment of love. Easier said than done. We definitely need Jesus and we need to remember "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
Hosea is given a command to marry a harlot, named Gomer. I wonder how many of us would have obeyed God, and done that. Yet Hosea did obey God, and he learned what it was to love an unfaithful wife. Just as Israel had been the wife of God, and had been unfaithful to him God still had mercy on her. Marriage is holy and God wants us to honor our covenant relationship, even if one of the spouse's is unfaithful. So Hosea loved Gomer, and even though he put her out of the home after her unfaithfulness he later redeemed her and she became a faithful wife. This speaks of the Lord's great love for us as we have not been redeemed with silver or gold, but the precious blood of Jesus as a lamb without spot or blemish. God will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, there when the battle in Jezreel takes place God will fight for the people when they come against Israel in the latter days. Christ shall be the one head over them, and they shall be his people. He shall be their God, and thank God that he always keeps his promises. So even though this is yet to be fulfilled it will surely come to pass. So don't give up on your marriage no matter how difficult it may be God is still the restorer of lost things, and don't give up because God does not give up on us.
v4 the Kingdom of Israel CEASED to exist and He is no longer their God It is not to be confused with the current country of Israel of today.
v9 tells the Nation of Israel that they have fallen out of favor with GOD and they are no longer His chosen people (v4 for a little while) a period of time we have no idea when it will end, although we know when it began.)
This chapter shows how God is in total control over everything. His mercy has been shown for these people. This is all part of His plan for the larger scheme of things. God directs people even if one doesn't realize this. God is in front of everything,everywhere.
Hosea 13:16 "They shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed into pieces: and their women with child shall be ripped up".
What is the moral?
I THINK GOD IS A GENTLE MERCIFUL GOD. EVEN THOUGH THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL AND JUDAH HAD COMMITTED WHOREDOMS THE LORD OUR GOD STILL THINKS ENOUGH OF US AND FINDS A WAY TO REDEEM US. HERE HE SHOWS HOW GREAT HIS LOVE IS FOR US
