Jesus Christ IS come IN the flesh: but lives by his Spirit, not his flesh. For the flesh IS dead because of sin. But the Spirit IS life because of righteousness. For Christ IS high Priest for ever according to GOD. But if he were ON earth, he should not BE a Priest, seeing that THERE ARE priests that offer gifts according to the law: For the gifts of the priests of men on earth vary by carnal law.

Emanuel. No one can pluck you out of His hand is correct, but notice, that it does not say that you cannot walk away, and that is the problem. Many truly born again people do walk away. The parable of the lost sheep is one good example. In one it says He finds it, and the other one He says, "if" He finds it, He will bring it back. Don' conclude anything without looking at all verses on subject.

"That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation." vs 18. WHAT ARE THE TWO IMMUTABLE THINGS, Paul is speaking of here? Don't know? Read carefully, to verse 12, of chapter 7. That verse names the two immutable things...The priesthood, and the law, which have been fulfilled in Jesus. Both have been remade, made better, fulfilled, in Jesus.

If anyone think you can lose salvation you need to examine yourself see if your saved you got some seducing spirit. I LABOR IN WORD AND DOCTRINE so I know that verse refers to an apostate believer if you don't produce good fruit your chasetened you refuse and backslide then SIN UNTO DEATH for saved ONLY you'll lose your life only not salvation. Chapter 5 goes with chapter 6, in 5:11 to 6:6 writing to the believers (the saved) but these people they have backslidden so far into sin (there old ways) they don't even know they are saved. They are saved because they kept by the power of God. Once saved, saved forever God keeps his promise, even though man forgets and brings Christ to a open shame.
