  • Wayne sloan on Hebrews 11:5
Whatever that is not of Faith is sin. Without Faith it is impossible to Please God!
  • Nkoum jean bosco on Hebrews 11:1
Faith is also accepting what God says is, then is. What He says was, then was. What is going to be will be. What he says we are, then we are. What He says we have, then we have. What He says we can do, then we can.
  • Kashi on Hebrews 11
Faith is about always believing in God, no matter how good or bad your situation is. I know that God exists.
  • Susan on Hebrews 11:1
WOW!!! THE HOLY SPIRIT spoke to me and told me to look up definition of substance and evidence that goes with Hebrews 11:1, I found this link and I am starting to understand it better.
  • Cedrick on Hebrews 11:6
This simply means by believing you own and you receive on a day and time known by God. Remember your plans are not God's plans with you, you should not ask anything to please you, but God ( James 4:3). Your child believes that he/she will receive if he/she asks parents. God is your parent. BELIEVE, OWN AND RECEIVE. God bless you.
  • Marie on Hebrews 11:6
I think itís a very powerful verse. Trusting and putting your faith in GOD ALONE!
  • Sprianoh Mpango on Hebrews 11
Yes! Glory be to our God, the savior for his unmerited favor (Grace) to give to everyone who seeks Him, faith through our Lord Jesus Christ, for the righteous shall live by faith Romans 1:17.
  • Hazel on Hebrews 11
I love Hebrews such a great book on faith. Faith comes by just believing just what the Lord tells us to do . Take him at his word.Once we read it and study the word of God.It says be a doer not just a hearer of his word. James1:22
That is if we expect to go back with him when he returns.Happy Reading!
  • Jana on Hebrews 11
I love this chapter. What I have learned is reading the Word of God is easy, but, be obedient is something else totally different. Faith without works is dead. Having the Holy Spirit keep me in perfect peace while trials and tribulations are trying to destory me shows me God IS a God of His Word. I've learned how to depend on Jesus because HE will never leave nor forsake me. I love HIM!
  • Timothy Wayne George on Hebrews 11
All of these in the Hall of Faith obtained a good report through faith, but they did not receive the promise. They were looking for a city, that hath foundations, whose builder, and maker is God.
We too are pilgrims, and strangers in this world, and we like them are looking for a city. The new Jerusalem, that will come as promised by our Lord. Jesus said let not your heart be troubled, for you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you, so that where I am, there ye may be also. Thank God that Jesus went to the cross, and paid our sin debt. He is risen, and now is seated at the right hand of the Father. He is coming back to take us to live with Him in heaven. We will all receive the promise of God, and be made perfect with all those old testament saints who walked by faith. Yes faith is our victory over this world. The scripture says that the just will live by faith, and not sight. We too will have our names mentioned in the Hall of Faith, praise God for all the glory, and the honor belongs to Him.
  • Charles on Hebrews 11:1
    I love this
  • Al Sikkema on Hebrews 11:1
I am trying to relate the verse in Herbrews 11:1 to another text in the bible that states, "by grace are ye saved, through faith, and not of yourselves". It is God that can only save us and it is his "gift". Where does faith come in? Can we say by grace are ye saved through the substance of things hoped for. If we are dead in trespasses and sins we can bring nothing forward of ourselves to save ourselves. The dry bones in that arose and became an army became alive because of one reason: GOD. Faith then must also be a gift that God must give as well as Grace. This would then make Faith the substance of things hoped for (as much as the Lord will give us. Paul says I am what I am by the grace of God.
  • Tosin on Hebrews 11
To please God, we need to have faith of God and put it to use. By putting faith to use we become translated to God's way of doing things. Thus, we possess by our faith put to does as God does.
  • Jill on Hebrews 11:3
This scripture states that there are other worlds so with this said, there is life on other planets a more sophisticated being.
  • Fanwell on Hebrews 11
Since God our Father just spoke things into existence,we as His children have authority to create by word of mouth. In Genesis 1 God was simply saying,"Let there be...".We have the ability to create.Let's speak what we want in Jesus' Name!AMEN!

  • Joe on Hebrews 11
All things are possible if you hve faith and as Jesus said, all you need is faith the size of a mustard seed!
  • Timothy Wayne George on Hebrews 11
Hebrews 11 is what I call the Hall of Faith chapter. We must walk by faith, and not by sight. Praise God that all those who walk by faith have the Holy Spirit as their guide. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and we too will be perfected with those old testament saints when Jesus Christ returns for his Church. The bible tells us that Jesus is the Arthur and finisher of our faith. So we must run this race with patience looking unto Jesus who is right now at the right hand of the Father in heaven interceding for us.
One day we too will be included in the Hall of Faith. May we receive that crown of righteousness which God will give to all those who will love his appearing.
  • David on Hebrews 11
This is for by memory verse!

    I Love Hebrews 11.1
  • EVELYN KIRBY on Hebrews 11
I LOVE THE BOOK OF HEBREWS. SO MUCH WAS DONE BY FAITH. SO MUCH HAS BEEN DONE IN MY LIFE BECAUSE OF FAITH. BY FAITH, AFTER THE DR TOLD ME I WOULD NEVER HAVE A CHILD, I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THE DRESS I WANTED TO SEE MY BABY IN. I DID HAVE A BABY GIRL. BY FAITH, I REMOVED MYSELF FROM A SINFUL PLACE, AND WENT ON MY OWN, NOT KNOWING HOW I WAS GOING TO MAKE IT, AND GOD OPEN DOORS FOR ME. EVELYN
  • StephendeRafael on Hebrews 11
By Pauls definition faith is the evidence of the Truth of our Father for he has supplied many miraculous events to prove himself as father Paul delineates. In these latter days that we live in God has not manifested these miracles so dramatically judging that by the scriptures we have the evidence we need for our faith to grow as the writers have layed a foundation for our faith. God is that he is and no man has seen him at any time so our faith has to be a bridge from this world to the next.
  • Joey Lankford on Hebrews 11
By faith any and all things are possible. In God we can accomplish all things no matter how hard or removed they are. With God we stand. With out God We are alone.
  • Goodluck Mfon on Hebrews 11
We can have every thing in this world and still not please GOD, but with faith we can please GOD
  • Doris early on Hebrews 11
The hero's of faith in the Word of the Lord. Not faith in faith. There hero's of faith that were women. They are throughout the Bible. Study about their faith sometime. Faith is Substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things NOT SEEN.
  • Engr Ishaku A. Yerima on Hebrews 11
