Barnabas; Not sure what you mean? The Sacred and Holy Thing "committed to our trust," is NOT "ours to do with as we please!" All souls are God's, and the prerogative to save one and destroy another is His only as well. God has put the capacity in each of us, do either be of the truth, or else to never stand in the truth; to serve God or to serve Him not.We will be judged according to that we have.
  • Barnabus on Hebrews 10 - 6 years ago
I, too, am one in need of salvation, which is the preservation of the soul, which was granted to me somehow, someway, in the eonosphere(
made up name). Nevertheless, is it not mine to do with as I desire. Will it endure no matter what or will it die in the lake of fire for carelessness towards God law of Monotheism? Hebrews is about Salvation in Faith. Moses is Salvation in obedience. Right?
  • Bruce on Hebrews 10 - 6 years ago
lu2677: FEAR, is for the lost, the unsaved, one who is doing wrong. When a person is Saved,All fear is going. The fear of Dying,of Judgment,of---? There is no fear in love but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath Torment. He that Feareth is not made perfect in love. 1John 4:18 / The Day of Salvation is like no other,The Day He Entered My Heart! Oh! What a Difference He makes! WOW!!!
  • Lu2677 on Hebrews 10 - 6 years ago
Hebrews 10:31"It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." Amen
Some say He is not a God to be feared. A warning, is from love.
  • Lu2677 on Hebrews 10 - 6 years ago
V.10 "once for all". Christ died for all men.
  • Lane on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
Grant-- The scriptures tell us that flesh cannot understand the things of the spirit. Read Isaiah 55:8-9 GOD Bless
  • Bruce on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
Lillian: Another part of our Job is to tell others what Christ has done for us and to show The Way of Salvation. We are The Light in a Dark World

Wayne, I hope you know - I'm not angry with you; nor do I feel you are with me; we're just frustrated with each other. Therefore - may I ask you- do you attend church? I'm not asking what ch.; that's not my business; neither is if you attend one. So I won't be upset if you choose not to answer. God bless.
  • Cephas on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me for they are thine. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
  • Lilian on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
Jesus was sent by our Father to us so that you and me must have life in abundance. Jesus paid the price for us by his blood we are redeemed and pardoned our job now is to believe Jesus that he is the Son of the living God and he was raisen from the dead we must praise him and worship him only. JESUS WILL NEVER REMEMBER OUR SINS ANYMORE OBEY GOD'S WORDS UNTIL RAPTURE COZ JESUS IS COMING SOON
  • Shawn Hunter on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
I fear The Most High as well as Christ our Salvation! I am far from perfect but I do my best not to sin if I should fall short, I seek repentance. And when I see the opportunity to help another, I offer assistance to those who need it. I'm definitely changed since I turned to Christ. But it's not always so easy when the enemy speaks out and tempts us. The Holy Spirit convicts me to do good.
  • Wesley on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
IN ORDER TO BE SAVED YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT JESUS WHO WAS GOD'S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT HE CAME INTO THE WORLD TO DIE FOR YOUR SINS WAS BURIED AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD 3 DAYS LATER.YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT HE DID THAT FOR YOU.YOU CANNOT ADD WORKS TO THE GOSPEL.IT NEVER WAS BASED ON YOUR PERFORMANCE AND IT NEVER WILL.FOR IT IS A FREE GIFT.IF SALVATION IS NOT OF WORKS THEN YOU CAN'T JUDGE BY WORKS.
  • A disciple on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
The Law is for teaching us the character of love for God and our neighbor; and the sacrifices done under the Priesthood of the sons of Aaron, to teach us the things contained in the great and perfect work of Christ our atonement and our Redeemer. What was done for bringing sins to remembrance, were not done for them to continue in sins; but to remember God's promised salvation from the beginning.
  • Stephende on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
We have gone astray and will continue to stray because God requires of us to hear him and obey him, a little by little, precept by precept. Most Christians' worship amounts to idolatry, in that they worship the image and neglect the teaching of God, which Jesus taught in the Temple and to his disciples. We remain in sin without the knowledge God himself has imparted to us thru the Prophets.
  • Irene123 on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
"Not forsaking the assembling of yourselves together as the manner of some is ..... "; 'forsaking' does not mean being ill, or injured and HAVING to stay home or in hosp. It means 'willfully' not attending. Many only attend church on Christmas, lent, Resurrection Sunday,, christenings, etc. And all churches have more services than that a year.
  • G Dlamini on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.To me this verse talks about us that after we have received Him as Lord and Savior, We should then seek His face by reading the word of God, what our assignment is in this world and perform it.
  • Hloni on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
We are to put our faith on Jesus Christ only, an ask God to help us not to go astray as the bible say we will not be forgiven after knowing the truth
  • KarenP on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
Jesus is the only sacrifice that atoned for our sins. Jesus is calling us to holiness and a life lived in Him, not our selves. We are to share this good news (gospel) with every creature. When we do what God has asked of us then we know we will have the promise that He gave to us (verse 36). But, if we do not, then we know He has no pleasure in us (verse 38
  • William on Hebrews 10 - 7 years ago
"if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgement and fiery indignation." A hireling-pastor will tell you this scripture does not mean what it says.
  • Sylvia on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
I thank Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior for his precious bleed. A one time sacrifice for all of his children. Glory be to God.
  • Bernard on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
loving God is only tha way of salvation
  • Bobby tooley on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
It is the only way we will bring one to Christ, and bring out the love that we have for God. may we always have love and compassion for our brothers and man kind. It goes alone with the two greatest commandants that God gave to man
  • Deme on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
I can't help but think that this verse reminds me "to put on the love if Christ Jesus" daily. How many times do we walk operate in our flesh and not the spirit daily? We are to think of others, most importantly give ourselves to The Lord daily, letting him add to us those things that are spiritual, so that we are able to "consider others". Father God, please help us to die to ourselves daily as you pour yourself into us. Please forgive us for being selfish, in Jesus name...Amen!
  • MockingBird on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
To provoke is to stir up :To continue through : To love and to do good works : To love as God loves us .
  • Dervon Cole on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
The love that our saviour Jesus Christ had shown the world is for more unbelievable than we could ever imaging'
  • Stephende on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
This is the stumbling stone: Born again's bank on being saved when they misinterpret John 3:16, wrongly thinking that without repentance, they will find favor with God. What Jesus impleaded was to be perfect as he was, accept his miracles as proof that God was speaking thru him because there was no individual speaking with ulterior motives. Do not be so presumptuous. God will judge
  • KJ on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
To me this verse mean just want is written, if we sin willing there no more sacrifice for sin. Jesus did died for ours sins, not for us to continue in them. I feel this is talking about someone that really know the word of God and, is over riding there conscience of wrong doing and does the sins anyway.
  • Robert A Freed on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
There are no better of a way to explain the truth of how God takes he's prophet into letting us know ''FAITH'' all things are based in this and this is he's will. Expectation a better way of life when we do then when one fall's away in unbelief.
  • Rockwell on Hebrews 10 - 8 years ago
when the assembly is forsaking, it's the same as one abandon the faith!
