Wesley's Notes for Hebrews 6:17

6:17 God interposed by an oath - Amazing condescension! He who is greatest of all acts as if he were a middle person; as if while he swears, he were less than himself, by whom he swears! Thou that hearest the promise, dost thou not yet believe?

If anyone think you can lose salvation you need to examine yourself see if your saved you got some seducing spirit. I LABOR IN WORD AND DOCTRINE so I know that verse refers to an apostate believer if you don't produce good fruit your chasetened you refuse and backslide then SIN UNTO DEATH for saved ONLY you'll lose your life only not salvation. NO MAN SHALL PLUCK YOU OF MY FATHERS HAND

NO Jim! Once saved, AFTERWARDS DESTROYED FOR UNBELIEF! Not once saved always saved: for then we could do what we want, live scandalous, selfish, filthy unclean lives, an abhorrence to God and man; "But we're Christians!" How does anyone NOT understand that? The evil tree which produces rotten fruit IS CUT DOWN AND THROWN INTO THE FIRE! "Then truly by their fruits you shall know them."
